We've having to have 5 under 5s at our wedding! I want them all in fancy dress. What do you reckon? It'd be so funny! The grooms mum keeps going,' find outfits in M&S then they can all buy the same wherever they live! I don't want the the same at all!

give them general, basic ideas...poofy tea length fancy dress, and a general choices of colors....pastels, white, floral print, whatever, and let the mama's have fun picking for them. for cohesiveness, have them all wear the same hat or little white gloves, and/or have flowers in their hair, the same color shoes....or have them wear fancy dresses and go barefoot and gift them with tiny ankle bracelets and toe nail polish.

I think this is a great idea and I reckon that it will make the kids feel like it is there special little day too! What about different Disney characters if they are all under 5? This will be perfect for boys and girls and they can all relate to Disney at that age. A little minnie mouse and mickey, Donald and Daphne Duck? Whatever, this would be ace! Even snow white etc. Go for it and I would love to know what you decide on!!

It's your wedding so do it your way:)
Fancy dress sounds like a lovely idea for such young attendants.
Do you have a theme for your wedding?
Mine was 1940's WWII style and in winter so we all had furs (fake) & long gloves as accessories.
It does look nice to have some common idea bringing all the outfits together.
mostly it depends on what style you are going with, if you have a formal wedding (white dress, men in suits) then pretty princess or fairy costumes would look great.
A more casual wedding lends itself to anything.
Children love to dress up so it will probably help keep them amused too - and happy children make for a happy wedding:)
Good luck

I bought my five year old flowergirl's outfit from BHS - the enitire outfit , shoes, dress, jackey, tights - for under £30. There's no point spending a fortune on their outfits cos they'll only end up running around, playing & getting them filthy! Try looking on e-bay or even in Woolworths for kids costumes (fairies, etc.).

That sounds different... it may turn out really good.
Its your wedding, don't make people dictate your big day...

How about having for the girls:
Little Fairy's along with wings?
Princesses with tiara's

For the boys:
Pirates?

How about looking at Disney characters? (all depends on your theme of your wedding)
