Okay... so I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years and he still hasn't proposed. It's not like we've never talked about it... and he's even gone shopping for rings a couple times (I'm not supposed to know :) ) but.... I'm just getting a little impatient. I love him with all my heart and couldn't see my life with anyone else. It's not that I just want to get married... I just want to know that he can make the commitment that I already have. It makes me feel like I love him a lot more than he loves me, and that's a bad feeling.. even though deep down I know it isn't true. I just don't know if I should wait around... or move on? I don't want to be with anyone else, but I am at a point in my life where I am ready to settle down... and he's the one I want to do it with.

We are on a tight budget and I was wondering if instead of having rsvp card that are sent back if we call tell people to rsvp by calling or emailing us. Is this tacky or not. just trying to cut cost any where we can. It is a very informal wedding outside with a really quick ceremony and a pig roast to follow. i should mention we are getting married in a field where we all camp in the summer...

I have to buy a gift for the wedding shower and everything on her list is crazy expensive plus they're having presentation at the wedding so I have to give them $50-100. Someone told me that normally people don't have a registry and presentation. They aren't living together until after the wedding so I guess that kind of explains both. But do I have to do both? This wedding I'm attending is going to put me into debt.

I love history and my fiance loves the outdoors, so we are thinking about getting married at Ide Adobe State Park on the Sacramento River near Red Bluff. It will be in the spring of course, when all the leaves are fresh and green, and while the weather is cool.

I am looking for a banquet hall around the Inland Empire area that allows off-site catering. If anyone can give me any suggestions that would be amazing. Thanks!

My fiancee is a convert, and we think it would be best to have a ring ceremony to ensure his family feels apart of the wedding and not left out.

My questions is: Have you ever been to a ring ceremony?
What did they speak about during the ring ceremony? How long was the right ceremony? What did you think of it? DId it take away from the temple ceremony? Was it appropriate? Did they have the bride walking down the aisle and flower girls, etc etc???

I am getting married in July and the ringbearer's mother asked me where to get a tux for her son. Online is the obvious option, but she has no internet access. Money is also an issue.

I have 3 years left and will owe over 100K in student loans by the time I graduate. Should I just take out more loans and get a really nice ring or try and budget on a cheaper ring? And the ring has to be from Tiffany's & co. and over 1karat. I know they say you should spend 2 months salary but I have no salary?

My father passed away a four years ago and my mum has met and fell in love with a lovely man who she is marrying on Saturday. Mum asked me to make a speech and I have no idea what to say. It's not like I can say "I am so glad you met _____ " Because the only reason she met and fell in love with ______ is because my father passed away. I am very close to my mum and would love to make a moving speech.

We sent out our wedding invites and there are quite a few people who haven't replied either way. I'm not sure what I should do. I don't really want to call them and say, "hey, are you coming to my wedding or not", but at the same time, my sister got married last summer and a bunch of people who didn't respond just showed up.
She had a cocktail reception so it wasn't too big a deal food wise, but we're having a sit down dinner so we need to know pretty much exactly how many people are coming.
I'm not sure what my next step should be.

We got married on March 4th. Our wedding was wonderful. We have since returned from our honeymoon and opened our gifts and all. We are starting to realize that a LOT of people who RSVP'd they would be at the wedding not only did not bother to show up, but also have never called to provide an explanation, or sent a card to apologize. My husband and I are appalled. We realize that 32 out of the 127 people RSVP'ed they were coming and did not show up! Not ONE of them has sent any sort of explanation. We paid a lot of money accounting of these folks. What would you do?

I understand that the maid of honor will go to the top of the steps. Isn't that quite akward that the flower girls and ring bearers go last?

My fiance and I were thinking on my side there would be a maid of honor and 3 maids. On the groom's side there would be a best man and one groomsman. Then we were thinking that the 2 extra maids could walk each other down the aisle. What do you think?

He picked it out, had it sized and paid for it. His ex had nothing to do with it and it wasn't a "set". We are getting married in September and he hasn't been able to find one that he likes. It won't match my ring but that doesn't really matter to me. I like white gold and he likes yellow gold. His "old" ring has white and yellow gold with three diamonds. It really is a nice ring but I'm not really sure how I will feel about him wearing it for "our" marriage. We live in a small town and run into his ex sometimes and I'm not sure how I would feel if she noticed that he was wearing the same ring. What are your opinions?
