My fiancee is a convert, and we think it would be best to have a ring ceremony to ensure his family feels apart of the wedding and not left out.

My questions is: Have you ever been to a ring ceremony?
What did they speak about during the ring ceremony? How long was the right ceremony? What did you think of it? DId it take away from the temple ceremony? Was it appropriate? Did they have the bride walking down the aisle and flower girls, etc etc???

I'm not LDS, but I attended a ring ceremony for one of my friends who is LDS and her husband was a convert. It was short and done at the beginning of the reception, his family read a few poems on love, the flower girls weren't involved. It was simply the couple, reaffiming their love for those of us who didn't see the ceremony. It was very simple and tasteful and his family loved it!

I know I answered your other question that was similar. But, I wanted to mention one more thing.

Whatever, you decide as far as the ceremony, just make it simple and have fun.
