I love history and my fiance loves the outdoors, so we are thinking about getting married at Ide Adobe State Park on the Sacramento River near Red Bluff. It will be in the spring of course, when all the leaves are fresh and green, and while the weather is cool.

We were planning on having the ceremony at the park, and then going to a hall in town for the party. The park is so beautiful when it is lush and green, with the river right there.

i'm a DJ and that i did a marriage at a state park in California. they seem to be a discomfort in the butt for distributors no longer on their authorized checklist. So in case you have a chum who is going to be enjoying in a band on your wedding ceremony, the state park might make him purchase a $2 million insurance plans. Or in case you have a caterer which you rather desire to artwork with rather of those on the state park's checklist, you have gotten to pay the caterer greater suitable for insurance and all the paperwork that they might desire to fill out. yet one factor's for advantageous, that wedding ceremony I labored replace into pleasing because of the fact the state park replace into so nicely stored! * * *

My Son and Daughter in law (now) planned a wedding at our local St Park (pennsylvania)
If you talk to the park office they will work with you and a caterer & a wedding planner
It is doable but you must comply with park policy- so most likely you will be having a spakeling cider toast. no alcohol at st parks..
Its a beauiful way to have a nature filled wedding!

Here in the southwestern part of Ohio. we have a department to handle this very thing. They even rent out their lodges for wedding & receptions that onlook BEAUTIFUL grounds.
Find the one for this particular park. Until you know you can do it, don't get your heart too set.

But even Central Park in NYC will give you a permission pass for you're special event, so Good Luck!

Normally to get married in a State Park you are going to need permission from the parks to make sure if it's ok. From the knowlege I am current with there is no law stating you can't get married in a state park. but there is a law stating that you must have permisson to do so
