Weddings - February 2007

i feel really bad. he says that he doesn't like to get close to people, because he has had a lot of people that he thought were his friends in the past screw him over or use him. we are getting married in september, i have four of my friends in our wedding, and he only has two choosen right now to be in our wedding, one being my brother. i feel bad getting him to get two more people, because i think he has anyone else that he would want to be apart of our day. i feel bad, what should i do, or say to him to make him feel better?

a lawyer or business man marrying them? or at least something extremely close?, it has to be high-res. because it is gonna be for the cover of a lawyer-related magazine.

I'm having a pretty casual wedding with a few bridesmaids, I thought instead of picking out the girls dresses they could choose any dress that they would want. They are all so different I thought seeing them in their own style would be nice I didn't specify color either beacuse I really am not one to be picky. Now one of the girls wants to wear white, now I'm eating my own words because I didn't even think to say anything but white because I honestly didn't even think this situation would come up. I'm not sure how to nicely tell her not to wear white? have the maid of honor maybe talk with her or should I sit down and tell her? Any suggestions would be great.

I'm in the UK and I earn £20,000 p/a, I have looked at Tiffanys and Boodles. Any other ideas guys? I guess I'm looking at spending 1-2 months wages if that's the tradition. Throw me some serious ideas and any other (good) advice that you like. Cheers all

well me and my ex gf had been together for 2 years,just before crimbo we split up due to are familys hating one another.
well its been along time since we have spoke and her family wont let me see her or speak to her and she is listing to her family becuase like us all know blood before water.
well am off into my army training april and well she has made it clear to me that shes still in love with me but just cant be with me.
i was thinkning of asking her to marry me after i finsh my army training (12 weeks training)
i know it might put some persure on her but she and me have always spoke about getting married and having kids and a house.
shes always dropped hits wen walking past rings in the window's
its just it is going to be a shock for her to c me just coiming out in the blue with my army uniform on and askin for her to marry me!!

before i ask her ill explan my feelings to what has happen and to what am feeling now.i wont get to ask her for another 3-4 months

I was walking up the stairs for my class...when i had the deja vu /vision...
I was walking down the aisle (of a church)
and i was in a wedding gown...(i saw it from my eye prsepective)

and the walls were adorned with white and green flower(or leaves)

I am an Indian... but a lot of the ppl were wearing dressses and I saw a couple of old women in those dress hats.

and the song "here comes the bride was playing" i could actually here it.
I never got see my groom.

Oh the church was the one I used to go to in India for 8 years straight till i was 12 .


5-10 mins later ,i had a second one ,that i was giving birth ...

Both like lasted a split second...the1st one was sooo clear and i could see the detalis... except for my groom .
and the second one was kinda seemed...dark like there was not much lighting or something.

What does this mean. Am i freaking out .
I am like 14-15

I'm 24 and currently engaged to a 20 year old. He is the most understanding and loving person. I had 2 abusive relationships in high school and was raped 4 years ago. I have been through therapy and according to my shrink I am at a very good place to start thinking about my future with my Fiancee. I, however, find myself freaking out about his 21st birthday, and the bachelor party. (I have trouble with drinking because it can lead to so many things.) Now I find myself having nightmares and loosing my train of thought because I'm afraid he will "do something stupid" or have a stripper there. I know it sounds weird but I can't imagine what I would do if I found out about a stripper. The real trouble is I don't know any of his friends. I have no idea what they are like, if they will respect my wishes or his. I was wondering, am I being illogical...or is it okay to be worried about this stuff?

i would like to see some wedding pictures of this dress. we picked out mori lee style 870 and color cornflower blue satin dress. when we went to the store to match the color to the vest for the guys the sales associate matched us with periwinkle vest and tie and to us that looked more of a purple. my fiance picked out powder blue vest and tie. do you think that the powder blue would go better. you may view the dress at www.morilee.com click on bridesmaids enter style 870 and click on the color cornflower.our wedding is april 7, 2007. the groomsmen are wearing a white tux.

How to Propose to her?
ok am due to join the army around april...so i was thinking of finshin my army training then asking her.my army training will be for 12 weeks.but what i was thinking is to turn upto her work stright away the min i get back from my training in my army uniform looking all smart and with flowers and a ring and to ask her to marry me with all this happening at her work infront of her friends!but then again its not infront of her friends cos she works in a babys nursury so i cant enter the building so she will have to come to the door on her own....sud i make a big banner tie it to the trees and say look?
or cud i try making a video with all my army m8's and me shoutin claire will u marry me ?
am just lost as i want this to be the most spcacial thing ever to her

I am on a budget with flowers. I have organised my bouquets and reception flowers but was thinking about the church. Do we really need flowers in the church? If so, where are the main place(s) to put them considering I don't want to spend much. i.e its about £70 ($140) per pedestal !!!!!!
Ive already thought about saving money in the church by putting silk bows around the ends of the pews to brighten up things, and my flowers girl is giving out springs of lavender and white heather tied with ribbon to guests as she walks down the aisle.

Please help with suuggestions XX

I am getting married this May, and we are having a very small service...(friend of ours is a Justice of the Peace, and will be doing the service outside-gazebo...) so anyways...because it will only take like 10 minutes and we are not doing any readings, should I still have programs?? (about 200 guest expected) We are having a bridal party, 5 on each side...should I at least acknowledge them?? Parents are not giving me away, but will be there...(second marriage for me, first for him...my two children (ages 13 and 10) are walking me down the "aisle"...)

I have been with my fella 9 months and we have lived together for 5 months. He will be divorced within the next 2 months (spilt a year ago) and he has 2 daughters who live with us (don't see their mum). I love him and the girls and I want us to be a stable family for them as they have been through so much. He has gone off marriage due to his ex but I really want us to make the commitment together. I came out of an engaged relationship just before meeting him (although I have known him 19 years). I would love to ask him to marry me but I am scared he will say no.

Well im getting married in april and me and my fiance were going to live in a house that my aunt is building behind her house for $450.00 a month. We went and talked to my aunt and told her yes we will live there so she wont rent it out to anybody else. Well now my boyfriend said he wants to live at his parents house but i dont want to. im stressing it ALOT because i want any problems with his parents or siblings. We already talked to his mom and she wants us to live there but i dont want to. What should i do???
