no because its for singles, thats the tradition. theres no exception for friends, she could be in the wedding and get her own flowers. and besides if she caught the boquet, then all the other girls wouldnt think it was fair.

The throwing of the bouqet is for singles! Sybolizing the one who catches the bouqet is the next to get married. Married couples should not attend this part of the reception.

You mean trying to catch it?

I've seen that done several times actually. Usually they need more people standing, trying to catch. Whoever is taking pictures has usually suggested it at the weddings I've been to. As long as the bride doesn't mind & the married lady doesn't mind I don't see the big deal. I think throwing the bouqet is more of a photo opt more than anything anymore.

it's such a stupid and meaningless tradition. Honestly, don't even tell me that these girls are dumb enough to believe if they catch a boquet of flowers they are really next. FALSE, however, I've been at weddings (avoiding the whole boquet situation) and seen single girls get really pissed off at engaged and married chicks for trying to catch it. It's just so petty and ridiculous. If it's going to be a situation then don't throw it at all.

I've been to a couple wedding where this happened. They didn't have enough single women. I mean like there was only one. So they got other women and some of the little girls to join in. I didn't see any harm in it. It woulda been kinda sad with just one person out there.

It's for single girls ONLY! My sister tried to jump in on the tossing of the bouquet at a wedding. Her husband was away on business and I guess she was feeling a bit single that night. Totally wrong. Plus it takes away from the meaning of tossing the bouquet. The one who catches it is the next one to get married. So...I say...nope...tell her to sit down.

relies upon how long you have been married and how sturdy your relationship is? that is no longer lots the question if that is suited, that's the prospect linked with having a chum of the different intercourse. till your already ineffective, you recognize what I advise.

It is completely inappropriate. It is also inappropriate for small children (not of marriageable age) to participate as well.

no! It is only for single girls/women.

It would ruin it for the single girls if she caught it.
