What songs do you hate to hear at a wedding? My Dj allows me to banded songs so he won't bring them and they won't be played.
I want to band the "chicken dance" and the "hookie pookie". I still have flash backs to my friend who had a very fancy wedding with a real violist group playing for 2 hours..... and then her aunt force her and the whole wedding party to do the chicken dance for the first fast song.... It was awful!!
Any songs you hate?

Ok- I'm trying to think of something to put on my fiancee's wedding band. I was originally going to say Put it back on- but then, it won't be able to be on his finger all the time anyway. The next choice was Better than ice cream- still thinking about that one.

Anyway- in somewhat going personal- he loves the movie Bambi. So I was thinking about using twitterpated, but i don't konw what other words go well with twitterpated (like forever twitterpated or something)

Suggestions? Opinions?

Here's the info:
Bride, raised by her mother, good home, helped her at every turn.
Father of the Bride, paid no child support, so very not in the picture
only when he wanted to cause trouble.
Seperated and divorced because of verbal and mental abuse, cheated every chance he could.
complained any time he was asked to help, and got none.

Now years later he's willing to pay for wedding, has married the women he was cheating with, still Bi***ing.
The Bride has decided to get dressed @ the father's new home
and all pictures are to be taken there.
needless to say devistation, to say the least, best of all bride wants her mother to go there and get ready and have pictures taken, mother refuses , walah....Bride pissed, mother hurt by inconciderate bride.................there you have it.

ANY THOUGHTS

I'm 2 months engaged to the girl of my dreams.. However, she got in touch with her ex(7 yrs ago) and wanted to call off this whole thing off as she said she wanted a real husband, and he's the one she has been searching for all this while..
He left him the last time as she feels he's too good for her at that time, when she was 21, and still naive. She got 1 guy after him and me initially. We've been together for 5 yrs + now and she recently confessed that she "tried" to love me all these while but can't go on cheating herself and feels that the one she's been truly searching for is that ex of hers.
I'm glad she's honest but extremely torn apart on the other.
Me:25 Her:27 Him:29
Love her or let her find her true love??

We're having a small wedding and I want to have a dress that expresses my personality. I'm very unique and like to be different. what kind of suit would match these dresses? I don't like the stuff they have for men on a lot of the sites I've been looking at.

Take a look at them and let me know what you think will be good for a guy who wants something basic but unique as well.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 4 years. We've lived together for 3 and a half. We've been through alot and we are in love and love each other very much. We both know that were going to end up getting married someday in the future so is it wrong to want to get engaged now just to get it over with since we know its going to happen anyways? I'm going to be 20 in a few months and he will be 22. Any opinions and no smartass crap and ignorant stuff.............

I have the church, the hall and all the details (most anyways). Why am I not excited about it? I can't wait to get married to the man I love. But when I went to try on dresses - I just wasn't into it. Why do you think I'm not excited about it? My fiancé has been married before. He has noticed that I'm not into it. I still haven't got my dress and the wedding is in July. Am I just not that girly? What do you think?

I once saw on a local tv news station that a couple paid almost nothing for their wedding because they found ways to get things free by advertising or something. Is this possible? Does anyone know where I should look or how to get started with this?
I'm getting married in May and anyway I can cut costs would be great. Thanks!

I have a simulated diamond center stone, and can *finally* upgrade to a real diamond of similar size/carat. About how much would a good jeweler charge for labor, mounting, perhaps setting change to accomodate the new stone?

My Mother just remarried in January and is now filing for divorce (not her fault). She would like to still send a Thank You note, but is unsure how to word it. Most of our family and friends know the situation.
