my ex husband says he will never b happy w/out me/I want him to b happy, but not with me/how do i handle it everytime he cries out his love 4 me?he also had a child w/someone else.but they never hooked up.She still married and is w/her husband, and my ex wants me back badly/I dont though.

I would tell him that he lost your trust when he cheated on you with a married woman and had a child by her. I definitely wouldn't go back to him, but it doesn't sound like you're planning that.
Tell him that he was obviously happy rolling in the hay with someone else, so that should be a good enough indication that he can be happy without you. Tell him that if he does indeed love you, he will let you be happy with someone else - not him.

The truth of the matter is anyone CAN live without the person they claim they cant live without. Thats just a figure of speech because if you do decide to move on...he might be unhappy and miserable but he will still "live". He has no choice but to continue on with his life.
Sometimes it takes someone to cheat to realize what they really have and the sad thing is that they dont realize how much they love that person until they screw up and hurt them. Its sad but its true and its life! The question is...are u willing to forgive him and get over what he has done? Will you be able to trust him again? If your answer is no or i dont know then...that should answer your question. You cant be with him if you are going to hold it against him or if you are going to think about it all the time because once you decide to be with him its because you have forgiven him and because you are over the past and what he has done.
but answering your original question...if you really dont want to be with him then you have no choice but to cut ALL ties with him. You cant even be his friend until he UNDERSTANDS that its completely over. Dont take his phone calls and seperate yourself from him slowly. You might feel bad but you have to do it. No one is going to be stong for you.

My ex said the same, along with 'What am I going to do' and my answer was simple; 'Your gonna pick yourself up and start again, just like me.' The fact is he CAN live without you, he just doesn't WANT to, there's a big difference. Don't be worried over suicide threats either. Tell the his family why you split and that he needs support and he will pull through.

Why is he and his behaviour/moods your responsibility?What do you mean when you say you want him to be happy? At your expense?No one has the power to make someone else happy for more than a transient moment in time.You,however have the power, should you choose to exercise it,to find contentment and peace in your own life.It is your choice whether you are willing to make the changes which are necessary to free yourself from drama.

Probably has learned by his mistakes and genuintely loves you and feels this this. However, it will never work out if you don't want him. Don't give him any reason to think you will eventually go back to him if you know your won't. That would be unfair.

Tell him he blew his chance with you by sniffing around at other females and you are NOT interested in being his heifer. If he continues to bother you, make friends with a biker gang and ask them to run him off.

Just tell him to leave you alone - if he doesn't, charge him with harassment. Yes - he can live without you. He just doesn't want to but that's no reason for you to stay.
