It is really up to you ... I have seen as few as 1 MoH and 1 BM to as many as 3 MoH and 10 BM (13 total!!!) ... it just depends on how big your wedding is and how many people you want to give that honor to ... you can also have more than 1 maid (or matron) of honor. For example, it would be out of place to have 13 attendants at a wedding for 50 people ... it isn't unheard of, though, to have only 3 or 4 attendants at a wedding for 200 people. It is just personal preference. If you don't need any witnesses to sign the marriage license, then you don't have to have any attendants if you don't want any.

You can have as many as you want! I had 3 and then I had 1 maid of honor. And my mom had only 1 bridesmaid. But I know some people that had 7 & 10! It just depends on you & your wedding. Just make sure your happy with whatever you choose! I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

That is something that definitely depends on the venue. You wouldn't want to pack ten bridesmaids onto a tiny church dais nor would you want to stand with only two on a large stage. I would reccommend having three to five bridesmaids including your maid of honor. Also make sure that the number of bridesmaids and groomsmen will be equal.

It's Ultimately up to you the Bride
I had 5 Total (includeing maid of honor)

each part of my life was represented
1) HS best Friend
2) cousin on dad's side like a sister
3) cousin on mom's side close to a sister
4) Grooms sister
5) roommate/good college friend

I have no sisters so that's how it worked out for me, but just make sure all the important people to you are in there....the ones that have known you the best you'll still talk to one another in 5 or 10 years. If you have 1-10 it's your wedding and it's whatever you feel is right.

It's looking like I will have 5, including the MOH. I want to include my best friends with my sisters. My boyfriend won't have as many groomsmen. My bridesmaids will walk up the aisle alone and his groomsmen will already be standing at the front with him.

Make sure that you work with the groom to see how many groomsmen he will have. It is very embarrassing and hurtful if you have one of your bridesmaid walk down the isle by herself because the number is uneven.

it totally depends.
I have a MOH, four bridesmaids, a jr bridesmaid and a flower girl.
My cousin in just have a MOH and another friend of mine had 12 attendents.
It's what you feel comfortable with and what you're wedding is like.
If you're having a small garden wedding...it would be weird to have a huge bridal party...but again, it totally depends.
