Weddings - January 2007

My Fiance and I are looking for a place for a winter mountain wedding in Southern or Southeastern Colorado. We will be having a small wedding, only nine guest will be in attendance. We would prefer to be outdoors on a mountain. I have been in desperate search for months, but the only thing I have found is the ski resorts. That would be fine for my side of the family, but Patricks side of the family can not ski. Does ANYONE have any ideas? We would like to marry in Febuary or March. PLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAASSSEEEE HELP!!!!!

I don't know ANYTHING about any of this stuff. My Mom doesn't know either. Should we invite close friends, people who will be in the bridal party along with the fam? Just dinner somewhere or at home?

My honey and I plan on getting married some time next year. We don't want to spend a whole bundle of money. He would like a church ceremony (thats not really the costly thing), We would like a decent reception (Sunday afternoon around Lunch time) but everywhere I have looked so far is going to cost a fortune. I was wondering if anyone can give me any ideas that will help save money, but will be beautiful and fun for not only us but for everyone else as well. I would be expecting around 50 to 60 people to attend (mostly my family). Thanks.

I am completely freaking out!! I ordered 2 bridesmaids dress one maid of honor dress and one flowergirl dress from an Eden Bridal Dealer. I ordered one more bridemaids like two weeks after the first order.The dealer has received the dresses but he tells me that he did not order the last dress because I did not pay him.We agreed that the dresses would be received and then I would pay the final bill. Now one of my bridesmaid has no dress.It is too late to have another made by the factory because the wedding is in one week. What am I gonna do? Are there any online vendors that keep Eden style 7104 on royal blue size 16 in stock?

Okay I am getting married in June of '08. I don't have a relationship to my father, my mother is deceased, and there are no other male (or female) influences in my life who i think would have the right to give me away besides my son who will be 11 when we get married. I think he should be the one to give me away. When i mentioned this to my fiance he was like I thought he would be the ring bearer. One i think ring bearer is "cuter" when it is a younger kid. My friends son is 1 now but will be 3 by the time we get married. Do you think that is too young? I think it is more important for my son to give me away. Also, i haven't even been to a wedding since i was like 12 so does the person who gives the bride away normally walk the bride down the aisle or does she walk alone?

Neither one of us is very strong in our religion (I go on Easter and Christmas, and he goes whenever he makes the trip down to his parents house almost 3 hours away) and he has said that he would become Catholic, but that would disappoint his parents. We don't want a huge wedding as we have to pay for everything ourselves (my parents have been telling me that all my life, they paid for their wedding so we have to pay for ours.) We have already discussed the differences and know that it will take some work but we will be able to get through them. What kind of wedding should we have? I know that if I don't get married in a Catholic church then I won't "be married" in the eyes of the church, or in the eyes of my parents. His parents don't really mind anymore, since we have been engaged for 2 years already. Does anyone have any help to offer?

3 months ago I asked my gf for time apart. things were moving too fast, and we were getting serious. She was very upset, but I insisted and didnt see her for a month. I realized how much I loved and I asked her to take me back. At first she was still angry at me, and she was dating someone else. She kept dating him, but I kept asking her back for about 1 week. She eventually forgave me and we are back and serious again. Recently I found out that she did not have sex with the other guy until the last night before she came back to me. I think she wanted to experience it, but I also wonder if it was a way to get back at me. She told him she would be going back to me, so that night he got the most out of it, and she admits they did it almost all night, three tim. We have talked a lot, about how she was hurt, but also about how she enjoyed the sex, which she tells me she did. we are back in love but I am a bit jealous. I know I gave her the freedom, but still I wish she hadnt used it.
