I am completely freaking out!! I ordered 2 bridesmaids dress one maid of honor dress and one flowergirl dress from an Eden Bridal Dealer. I ordered one more bridemaids like two weeks after the first order. The dealer has received the dresses but he tells me that he did not order the last dress because I did not pay him.We agreed that the dresses would be received and then I would pay the final bill. Now one of my bridesmaid has no dress. It is too late to have another made by the factory because the wedding is in one week. What am I gonna do? Are there any online vendors that keep Eden style 7104 on royal blue size 16 in stock?

Thanks for all your advice. The house of brides has the dress but it takes 10-16 weeks to get it since they order it from the factory.

UPDATE:
Understanding that you've found out that the House of Brides cannot get the gown in time, I've looked for Eden dealers in Las Vegas that you may want to call to see if they have one in stock. With the thousands of weddings that happen in Vegas - it's worth a try!
Hope this helps, keep us posted & don't stress - it will be a faint memory a year from now and you'll all laugh about it!

Do you have a David's Bridal in your area. They have dresses that you can take home the day you go in. Try to find a close match.
Being in the Bridal industry a couple years back I would suggest staying away from online dealers, a lot are scams, I I have seen many brides come in crying days before their wedding because they were ripped off. Look in your phone book and call around to all the bridal shops and ask if they have that dress in the size need or and royal blue dress in the size needed.
Sorry about the disiaster you have run into. And technically the dealer should have called you before time was up on ordering the dress, that is just bad business.

If the dress cannot "give" the half inch, that means you need more than a half of an inch to make this dress fit you. As an experienced dressmaker, I can tell you that rouching is often done so with a slip stitch that attaches the rouching to a lining; as a result there may not be the seam allowance needed to let four seams out. And, if the dress is so tight, the narrow seams could let go under stress. So, if letting out the seams is going to happen, you have to be sure it will not compromise the integrity of the dress. Letting out the zipper seam should only be done by a pro. Your other option, as mentioned by others, is to alter the dress to be a corset lace up back. That is the route I would go with, without a question or a doubt. You need to be comfortable and be able to move, dance, breathe and eat.

I hope someone can help find an identical dress. It will be hard because red is hard to match. Even dye lots of the same color can vary greatly. If not, find a complimentary colored dress of the same style that will fit in with your colors. Have that color accented with ribbon in the flowers the other bridesmaids carry. By adding that color with accessories you should be able to pull it together. I have seen this done with pastels, each bridesmaid wearing a different one. No reason it can not work for solid colors too. Best wishes. Sorry, I missed the part about royal blue just logged into the site and saw red. I suggest the idea someone gave you earlier if you can switch around dresses with the maid of honor. That would be a good idea if possible. Otherwise go with another complimentary color as I mentioned earlier.

Ok, breathe, calm. If this is the worst thing that happens you will be alright.
Are the maid of honor & the bridesmaid about the same size? If so, give the bridesmaid the maid of honors dress and go to David's Bridal or somewhere that you can buy off the rack and get her a different dress. That way it looks like it was planned.
You will work something out.
By the way, that is a gorgeous dress, looks like something I would have picked.

Years ago, a friend had that same problem. Two days before the wedding and missing a bridemaid dress. She took one of the other bridesmaid dresses to a local seamstress ( so she could reproduce the pattern) Six hours before the wedding, she had that same dress. The seamstress did a beautiful job!!

You may want to try going to a local seamstress with one of the dresses and asking her if she can replicate it quickly. You will be amazed with what they can do. My sister had ordered her dress two sizes too small hoping that it would fit. A seamstress was able to take from the length of all of the dresses just an inch and added it to my sisters dress, you could not tell the difference when she was done, even better is that she did it in two days.

One of the things I did (and I was on Active Duty at the time) was to give everyone a color chip -- and told them to purchase what was comfortable. This could be a good option in this case. As long as all the lengths are the same ... then no one is going to notice that one bridesmaid has a bit different look at the wedding anyway.

You can do what a friend of mine did- work the dresses around (if possible in size) and allow the maid-of-honor to wear a special dress, that of course would not be the same one but would differentiate her from the bridesmaids. That wouldn't look too odd.
Another option- find a seamstress in your area and take one of the dresses to her to see if she could whip one up for you. I had to do that with my wedding.

Try this link
more possibly to come
(after) Other than the Eden site, this is the only other one I can find. I did a search on Ebay to see if it was there - no luck. House Of Brides does rush shipping. I would suggest calling in your order to expedite it even more. Good luck and best wishes!!
OH OH - one thing I didn't think of - Craigslist! Try them out in local areas or even in non-local areas. I don't know if they have a search function that will do all of them at once, but it's worth a shot isn't it??
