Hey guys, I am inquiring about reception locations (150 - 200) seated, dinner, etc. in the Buffalo area. I am looking for something historic if possible. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Hello Fellow WNYer,
I have several suggestions:
The Delaware park Casino is lovely in the spring or summer
The Mansion on Delaware
Samuel's Grand Manor

I had my reception at Salvatore's and I was very happy with the entire event. It might not be the historic feel you are looking for though. Other great sites are The Fairdale Banquet Center, The hearthstone Manor, Shanghai Red's and the Protocol.

I hope this helps. You can contact me by email if you want to chat further.

I live down the street from the Butler mansion on Delaware Avenue and it's beautiful. Rich Products does the catering, so you can find out about prices from them.

Also, check out the International Institute of Buffalo (http://www.iibuff.org/). When I called for a price, I was told that it's $500 for the first 5 hours and $100 every hour after for the entire facility.

And there's Hamlin House on Franklin Avenue (http://www.hamlinhouserestaurant.com/). Prices are reasonable. Have dinner here on a Friday to see the interior and try their food.

I went to a reception at the Parklane on Gates Circle and it was a very nice ambiance.
