My fiance is letting me decide where, when & how our wedding is. He tells me that what I decide is fine with him. He tells me he's ready and wants to get married, but doesn't seem too excited about it. Is this normal for guys?

I'll be graduating and going to college on a full scholarship soon. My boyfriend is 20 and has a good job that could support us as a family. We want to get married and live together where I'm going to colllege

Living together and not being married isn't an option because of our mutual beliefs.
My parents want us to wait atleast 3 more years but I know that there is NO WAY we can wait that long.

Mutual friends and mentors (including a marriage coach who is a family friend and knows us well) and HIS family support the idea. Our pastor believes we are too young, however.

Should we gat married the summer before I start collge, after my first semester, after my first year?? (I will be skipping my freshmen year of college and entering as a sophmore with credits I earned in high school).
We wanted to wait until marriage to have sex but continue to slip.

He is my best friend and I want this so we can share evrything a partners and he can support and encourage me in school and vice versa.

For the married people out there.....

When you got married, was your fiance as excited as you were to get married and help you plan the wedding? If you are the guy, were you excited and did you help plan it?

I have searched the internet high and low and I can find a million versions of this game for baby showers, but none for a bridal shower. If anyone has a version of the game, please let me know.
Here's the type of thing I am looking for and the few ideas I have so far.

Groom - Big Hunk
Wedding Night - Skor
Bridesmaid - Lifesavers

Lets say we drove down to Gatlinburg and at the last minute decided to just get married. Lets say we only had a few days to do it. Can it be done? Can we go get the licenses and find a chapel at the last minute? Has anyone done this before? How does it work?

I was asked to photograph a wedding kind of last minute. It is going to be candlelight tonight which is tough enough, but at the rehearsal and practice run last night, I learned the minister will not allow flashes period. Also, she will not allow me to pass up the very back row of the church because she says it interfers with the ceremony. I had so many great ideas and now I'm worried to death.

If anyone could offer advice, I would really really appreciate it.

I was thinking about buying a new purse for the wedding- really for the reception to keep my makeup and extra stuff in. Are you bring/using a purse? Why or why not?
Thanks!!

Me and my fiance have talked about getting married in Gatlinburg, TN, I've gathered all kinds of info from different sites and also have put my name on mailing list to get info mailed to me at home. But the more I think about the more I kind of want a small intimate wedding close to home where my family and friends can attend. I feel like if I just run off and get married I'm doing my family wrong because I know they want to be there when I get married. What should I do?

Our wedding is in July and we need to figure out how we want the ceremony to go. Do you have any good ideas or know of any good resources for them?

I would like to invite my friend and her husband to my wedding, however, I used to date her brother years ago (whom is now married). I met her through her brother and haven't spent alot of time with her since, but we still keep in contact and I still consider her a good friend. Would this be okay or too weird and uncomfortable?

I'm getting married on July 7, 2007. It will be an outdoor wedding and I am stuck on colors. My fiance likes royal blue and I am also a fan of blue. We thought about royal blue and silver/white. I'm not sure if these are good colors for a outdoor summer wedding and I have brown hair and light skin. (not sure if that would make a difference) I am also stuck on what kind of flowers would go with these colors. I don't really want roses. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

My best friend since grade school will be invited to my wedding, if we don't end up going to Hawaii... I have never had a lot of "girlfriends" and Michael is the closest one to me. Would it be appropriate to have him on the Bridal Party side? I also have a brother that I would assume will be in Grooms side... but have my Aunt and Sister, and my fiance's two sisters... ??? Or to help even out, would it be best to put him on the grooms side?

I'm from Miami and my fiance is from NYC. By the time we get married we'll be in a different state because he's in the army. So no matter where we get married familiy is going to have to commute. We came up with the idea of getting married in Cancun to make it "fair" for both sides of the fam. The problem is that I know it'll be expensive for the guests (just like it would be for them to have to fly to any other state), should we pay for airfare or rooms? One of the pluses for a destination wedding was the price - we're only going to end up paying about $9,000 at an all-inclusive resort, w/our stay, ceremony, reception, etc. I guess we can afford to help the guests about but that would add on another minimum of $5,000 easily. Getting married in Miami or NY would easily cost $30,000 - $40,000. Any advice?

My wedding is 6/21/07. The caterer has been hired, but we haven't met to discuss the details yet. My fiance is in a panic because our rsvp date is 6/6. Will that be far enough in advance to have a head count for the caterer?

So that I can get more wears out of them? Anyone else try this??
