i already have my dress, dj, and rings picked out, and all of that will cost me about $1500...
im planning on having an outdoor 'backyard wedding'... how much much more do you think that i will have to spend? on the minister, and... reception? how much do caterers usually charge for about 100 or less people?

do you think $3,000 is enough for 200 or less people? Im planning on a 'backyard wedding'.. and do you think if i had a backyard wedding and planned the reception a few miles down the road, that anyone would go to the reception???

any other suggestions on how to keep it under $4,500 would be great... thanks!

I had a friend tell me about something called life bracelets. They are bracelets that you wear on your wrist except they are welded or sized to fit so that they don't come off. I guess kind of compared to a wedding ring only supposed to be permanent? I know that it sounds weird but I was curious to see if anyone had heard of them. Where would you get one? Are they really welded? How do you get more info on them?? Kinda crazy, but interesting!

Follow up to a previous question - it is customary to invite the family of a groomsmen to a wedding that is out of state? Specifically a 5 yr old child that is very close to the groom and is very well behaved and always gets complimented by the groom as to how well behaved he is?

My husband is in his best friend's second wedding. It is out of state. The groom's children are in the wedding as well as his nephews. We have a son the same exact age as the children - we are all very close - like one big family (three of the children are only 2 weeks apart!). His best friend just advised us that our son is not invited to the wedding because the plates cost $100 per person. I am very angry - my 5 yr old son doesn't eat much at all and I would even be willing to pay $100 for the meal. His future inlaws just spent $10,000 on them for Christmas so I don't believe money is tight for them. Am I wrong for being angry? I would have to find someone to leave my son with for a whole weekend. I want advice because I am so close to the situation. The best part is that my husband's best friend only has one brother and my husband is like his second brother. His best friend, his best friends brother and our family do everything together.

My boyfriend is going to propose to me and has recently brought up our going ring shopping together. I'm thrilled, but I couldn't wear a ring with a stone on it that some poor child slave mined. I've heard Isreali diamonds are ok, but I was wondering if there are diamonds from any other place that are also non-"blood" diamonds, and which major jewelry stores sell them. Also, do "legit" diamonds cost very much more? We're on a tight budget, and I want to know how much I should expect this to set us back (I'm buying him one too).

Assume the officiant would have at least two meetings prior, be there for the rehearsal and of course, at the ceremony. What is a fair price?

I got a price quote for $800 (4 hours). I'm located in Orange County. Thanks in advance!

If I get married in the Philippines, it will take two year bring my wife to the U.S.A. If I get married in the U.S.A., it would take six months. Is it possible to get married in the Philippins and U.S.A. and have her brought to U.S.A. less than six months.

We are planning a summer wedding and need some ideas on cutting costs.

I have a problem, I do NOT want to walk down the isle to the corny song here comes the bride. I like the hawiian version of somewhere over the rainbow by IZ, but my fiance says thats dumb. I think its cute b/c that song tells about a world that you canonly dream of, and that day, my dream would be coming true. Does anyone else think this is dumb, or have any suggestions of any other songs to take that walk down the isle with? Thanks

Please got to www.demetriosbride.com

Skip the intro and click on United States. Then go to ‘Collections’ and in the ‘search style’ enter 3026.

This will pull up the dress that I really like.

It will be a June wedding. I think it is very light and perfect for the time of year.

Please let me know what you think.

Thank you for taking the time to look at it!! I really appreciate it!
