Sounds like 6 months is the best you're gonna get. I doubt getting married in both places is going to make any difference, both places have their own stipulations. Good luck.

This is a hard question due to the fact the laws are very different in the Philippines. Before any paperwork is petitioned u have to know each other for at least 2 yrs. Please keep any means of communication documented it helps with INS. As long as u have visited the philippines and she has visited the US and u can prove this by passport, visa and ticket stubs from flights Either if u get married in the Philippines or in the US the paperwork still has to be filed by uin the US due to being a US Citizen. Just don't get any lawyers they cost too much and one mistake will cost your wife years waiting.I got married in Nigeria and I brought my husband here in 8 mos NO LAWYERS. Just DETERMINATION. Good Luck. If I can help any further just ask

I've heard that the fiance visa is not the fastest way to do it.
And it will only take a lot longer if you get married in the Philippines.
I'd say the fastest way to do it is get married in the U.S and THEN file for Adjustment of Status instead of bringing her over with the fiance visa, get married and then do the whole Green card thing.
You can also check out http://www.uscis.goc/ for information that you may need about any visa and bringing her over to the US.
I wish you luck

Who knows??? I think it's a crapshoot on the time thing. My wife came here on fiancee visa and it took us 8 months. And I was told fiancee visa is the quickest way.
That's a rat race you only want to go thru one time in your life. If you are interested in a company that specializes in visas, let me know. They prepared all our paperwork and prepared her for the embassy interview. After she arrived and we got married, we also had them prepare her applications to change status, etc. It cost us about $2000 in paperwork preparation both for the visa and the change of status after marriage. BUT IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY.

i think the quickest way to bring her to USA is apply for a fiancee visa, and get married as soon as she arrived.

i recomend you should investigate more about that. i heard that is faster if you get a visa for her as a girlfriend and once she's here then marry her.
