My college roomie has charged me with the responsibility of being her Maid of Honor.

However, I am having a bit of trouble putting together a toast for the wedding day. Specifically, the length.

Since many of the groom's quests who will be attending the wedding only speak Spanish, I was thinking that it would be nice to do a dual toast (an english version and the spanish translation).

I was wondering, if I choose to do this, how long the toast should be.

Getting married in August and going to WDW for our honeymoon...I'm thrilled beyond belief! I haven't been there for a very long time, so does anyone know of any high-end, classy restaurants we should visit? Think romantic...

my friend Meena loved a guy for abt 5 years already. He is from India and she is from S'pore. He is not close to his parents n is settle in S'pore for abt 10 yrs. Now for the sake of getting married to Meena, he asked permisson fr his parents, but they disapprove and he didnt care. Meena nvr told her father abt her boyfriend till recently abt 5-6 mths ago. Her father got very upset and stopped talking to her. He is also not allowing Meena to get married to him, becoz he is from India. Meen's father is afraid, the guy will bring her back to India. Which he will nvr do.

Now the guy got an offer to study and work for 2 years. And if he join this sponsership, he is not allowed to take any leave for his marriage. This sponsership requires 100% of his attendance for two years. So he wants to get marry to Meena by Mar 07. So he went to Meena house last week to talk abt the marriage. But the father told him, to wait, finish the studies then get married. He disapprove of getting married so fast.

The problem now is, meena is 26 and he is 30. IF they get married after two years, they will be very old. They want to get married now so that they can enjoy each other company while he studies and after two years give birth to a baby. But Meena's father dont understand this at all.

Meena's family and relatives all had spoken to him, but he is firm that the wedding shld be done after two yrs. What shld meena do? She is very upset. She was dreaming that, she will be freed from her father's strictness. (She is 26. but she got no freedom to go out or do whatever she likes).

So guys, can you suggest what meena shld do? she wants a wedding with her father blessing, so she wont leave the house n get married. Any good comments meena can follow?

Just a typical price range. Plain white settings. For about 50 people. Any idea would help.

15 years ago, if someone even hinted about gay marriage, there would be hell to pay. Now if you have a negative comment, you get hammered by the liberals. How did this insanity happen?

I know the price shouldn't really matter as long as she will like it, but I just want to know if I got screwed over or not in the purchase.

The ring is 0.47 ct solitaire princess cut in a 14k white gold setting. Color rating around G/H, VS2. Total cost around $1330. Is that an acceptable price?

I have been with this wonderful man who I will marry in 2 or 3 years from now but not all of my family agrees with me marrying him because he is from Africa. His family and friends adore me and love me a lot. Yes, I have heard about what Americans say about African men. I feel he might be the one for me and explore the world together. How do I really know if he is the one for me to marry? If so, how can allow my family see he is "Mr. Right?"

He's in the military and we are in 2 different states. I've asked him over and over again but, still he hasn't sent me anything. My wedding band was costly and I really didn't have the money but, figured since it was on sale at the time I'd buy it. How do I tell him it's his responsibility to buy my wedding band and I'm supposed to buy his without sounding *itchy and like a gold digger? I don't want to make him feel like I'm badgering him about it either, but, I'm kinda tight with cash right now trying to pay for a wedding and it seems like he's not helping contribute to the finances for it.

I am considering either going to the justice of the peace or having a small wedding... I have been with my fiance for 9 years and we have a son together. My Mom says it would be stupid to have a wedding... and that we should just go do the paperwork. She says people will think a wedding this late in the game, with a baby is foolish. What do you think?
