I was! I was a virgin bride on my wedding night. I was 28 years old. It was a wonderful wedding gift for my husband.

If you are willing to marry her, then she is obviously yr princess already. Hopefully both of you would have discussed this way before yr wedding night. She is probably as pure as you are, and her expectations of you would no doubt be similar to yrs. I think a healthy dose of “rational expectations” is a must not only before people marry but as you both enter into the many (hopefully) years of a solid marriage. Merry Christmas

Well, If you are planning on getting married soon, I would hope that you would be aware of each other's "status" if you are expecting her to be a virgin. That's fine if that's what you want... but if you are expecting her to be "pure" then YOU better be pure too. Don't put up a double standard.

In today's society, you might need to redefine "pure." My husband was satisfied that I had abstained from "unpure activities" for the year that we dated before getting married. Looking back, it wasn't that difficult. I was getting off a time in my life when I was dating a string of guys who I felt were only into sex. I wanted to be held and have someone tell me he loved me without "needing" to be repaid for those three words with sex. He gave me that and more.

finding a "pure" girl now a days is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack lol.

really shouldn't matter unless it does to you. but the odds of you finding the girl you want to marry and her to be a virgin too is astronomical

Would you buy a car without test driving it? I know I wouldn't want my husband to be pure, so I hope he doesn't expect that from me.

Really, there are many more important things. If this is a big concern to you, it's possible you shouldn't be married because you will always feel disappointed about one thing or another.
