I just put a candle in the middle of my tables and put rose pedels all around...it was sooooo pretty!

Tall, candelabra-esqe centerpieces. Meaning, something with an antiqued finish. Something that the floral arrangements can be placed atop. With the tall centerpieces, make sure they are tall enough so that the floral arrangement isn't blocking the view of your guests that are sitting around the table. 24" tall pieces should be more than sufficient.

Flowers and fruit! We had a Victorian Christmas theme, and our centerpieces were large floral arrangements with roses, pears, pomegranites, artichokes, and some other flowers. We surrounded them with votives.

Black and white pictures of you and the groom set in a silver frame. Place that in the center of the table w/ candles in a silver votive holder around it.

long candle stand with crystals coming down from it, it can be wonderful with any flowers you choose; or you can have nice center pieces made of fruits; like grapes, red apples and these things with warm color cover like dark red or gold; with candles around; that will look so unique and people can also eat :)
