You should always consider the time of year that you are getting married. Pastel colors are best in the Spring. Red and White can be used any time but is best during the winter. If you have a summer wedding you can look at various colors, such as pink, lavender, sage, yellow. If you get married in the Fall, look for richer colors. Also, to be on the safe side black and white are classic colors that can be used any time of the year.

You know what its your day If you want to wear a black wedding dress wear one. I personally wouldn't but it may be your tast. Anyway i would say that pastels are very nice and so is red and white. But i say go with your favorite color if it pink its pink if its blue whatever its your day you get to choose it all and if you decide you dont like it then change it hopefully you havent ordered the dresses and or bought them when you change your mind. I would say pastels are more of a spring time wedding but lets say you went with a pastel blue then it could be a winter them if you were having your wedding in december.I say do your favorite color it wont fail you. Its is going to be pleasing to your eye and thats what counts right.

Well my wedding is in April and i really wanted red and ivory flowers for my wedding but because its in April i cant because those are fall and winter colors if your wedding is in the spring or summer use lighter colors, I'm going with green and ivory the green i am going with is not a light green and its not a dark green either in between, my bridesmaids are wearing that color and their bouquets are going to be ivory and have green leaves of some sort in there, i dont know just an idea for you to take in consideration

It's you and your fiance's day. Whatever colors you desire, should be the final colors for your special day. If you are choosing colors based on what OTHER people want or say is "traditional", then you should really reconsider your color scheme. Your wedding day is about two people: you and your fiance. Noone else. If you want Fall colors for your summer wedding, sobeit. Those moments will be memorialized forever by your photographer.

Chose something that makes YOU happy!

I have coordinated several weddings and you should pick colors that you AND your 'intended' agree upon. I have done weddings in both schemes that were beautiful.

These days couples are doing what makes them happy for their wedding (of course within the guidelines of your faith, location of ceremony, etc.)

Make a budget first, then have the best wedding you can afford.

I'd do red and white flowers - and have you the only person dressed in white, everyone else has to wear black. I love that look! It makes the bride stand out on her day
