so my old friend from elementary, middle and high school jus came back on his 20 day leave from the marines and when he came back all the feelings came back for me and him because we used to like eachother before. the weird thing is that we havent seen eachother for 5 years and all of a sudden it all come back. i broke up with my boyfriend at the time to be with him, and we both have been going back an forth seeing eachother and right before he left to iraq, he proposed to me. i jumped up and said yes right away. we're both 20 yrs old. so he's in iraq right now but our love still feels the same since the day he left. he wants to get married in a court when he gets back so we can get more money so we can save up for a house and the big wedding wtih the family and friends. so is it a good idea to marry in the court and then a big wedding after he's done serving his time in the marines? because im willing to wait. and do u think this is true love or just puppy love? i DO love him tho =]

All they had to do was marry a few months ago and their lovely child who is going to be a lovely adult won't hate the two of them for their selfishness. When she is able to fully understand what her parents did to her legacy, she is not going to be a happy camper like so many of her Hollywood contemporaries. When will these parents learn?

Im getting married in June, and my soon to be hubby wants me to pick out my wedding set.... and I really like the "puzzle" rings....(where they fit together...sometimes overlap each other)....I've looked around on Ebay...and some of the big chain stores.... (walmart, ect)Can anyone help me?

Ive been with my bf for 2 and a half years..but we are both 19.so were very young.but we both want to get married,not just yet,but in a year or 2...theres just so much stuff to think about.Like how much money should you have to get married?I guess thats one of the biggest issues..is studying 2 days a week and getting married possible??anyone in the same situation? any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I dont know if you read my last question but i decided to propose to my g/f and i want to do it right. i could go for something romantic like writing roses in the sand and taking her to the beach where we met OR i could just be honest and tell her how i feel. Either way i know she's going to say yes. Which one do you think i should do? Oh yeah, her parents dont like me because I am chinese and she's italian, and my parents dont like her because they think she's not good enough for me... but i still feel i should ask him for his approval. what are your suggestions?

So my friend just got engaged, and Im a close friend. But she cant decide who to pick as a maid of honor, she hasnt decided yet. She says she wants this other good friend of hers and me to be an important part of the wedding as to choosing the bride's maids dresses and such. Does this mean she might be having 2 maid of honors, is it possible, well it is her wedding she can do whatever right??

I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years. Before that, we were best friends for 3 years. We've lived together for 2 years now. We've been through everything together. Like any other relationship, we've had our ups and downs...
Anyways- we've talked about marriage only a little. I get that he isn't ready...but the way he acts is so discouraging. He says he doesn't want anyone else, that he's 100% happy with us...and I know he loves me.
So what is the problem here?
Not to mention, that when we first got together HE was talking about marriage and whatnot. Now it's me talking and he doesn't seem so interested.
HELP! Please!

We have been together for about 3 years and have been living together for almost a year now. I do not have insurance at the moment because i work out of my house, but he has insurance. We are planning a wedding for May 5th, 2007, but are thinking of getting married at the courthouse so that we can make it legal and so i can get insurance finaily. Then continue on with our plans for the wedding in may and not really say anything to anyone about allready being married besides to the parents. i am wondering if anyone out there has done this before, what they thought about doing this, and if it effected them in any other way. or if anyone has any tips on doing this. please let me know! i would greatly appreciate it!

I would love for my fiance and I to get married thru the justice of the peace/civil marriage. He agrees however i cant find anything online about exactly how it works, do you just go and sign papers and thats it? I know how a tradional Church wedding is, and all the steps, but im clueless with The justice of Peace. How much is costs and i know i need a lisence for marriage prior, but other than that, im clueless. Does anyone know what will happen from start to end.. (i.e. First you will do this) Please help! Do you think its tacky......we were considering it cause when we were married 6yrs ago, we could have the wedding that we would have liked, we had no money, familes fueding......and my mother-in-law hates me........after our 4yr anniversay and a new baby he left me and filed for divorce......we were seperated for a yr and later we decided to reconcile and now we have a 4mo old baby girl.....we have been through so much drama and i am still having problems with the MIL but he is actually starting to pull away from his mommy, so we were thinking if we can get past all this garabage we should renew our vows and celebrate it how we should have done 6yrs ago.....what do you guys think? Is it a waste of money since we have a 2yr old and 4 mo old? They will be 6 and 4 by then........

I've been dating my boyfiend for four years, we have been living together for over a year and we've been talking about marriage and starting a family since five monthes into the relationship. At first, the only reason for us not to get married that we both were not where we wanted to be carrerwise, but now we are and have been for monthes.

Just recently a mutual friend ask me when we were going to tie the knot. My boyfriend jokingly answer "in 2009 and she can pick the date". I'm sorry, but I don't want to wait three years. I'm getting older and I want to start a family within a couple of years.

I want to say "I need a ring by the end of 2007 or I'm out", but he isn't the type of guy to respond to threats or guilt trips. That would just push him away.

Help!

So, im going to my boyfriend's sister's wedding this winter and I dont know what to wear. I know what to wear to a traditional spring or summer wedding, but this is different. The wedding will be fairly small and not traditional at all. As far as I understand, she wont be in a wedding dress and the bridesmaids wont be wearing dresses... so, im confused about what to wear. any suggestions for a winter, non-traditional wedding (ps..its in idaho so it'll be cold there)
