tho we've been living together and it seems our wedding night perhaps shouldn't be any different than any other, my fiance plans to have his kids that night.
I thought we'd go stay the night at a hotel.
Is it unreasonable for me to think that we should spend our first night as husband and wife elsewhere--with no kids?
We leave for our honeymoon 3days after the wedding.

I recently read an article where it stated that relationships between White men and Asian/Latin women are on average the most successful interracial couplings when taken in to account how long they last and opinion survey's from the couples themselves. I know these things aren't 100% accurate all the time, but I'm white and have been intrested in dating an Asian or Latin women for some time now, but have always thought that at the end of they don't work out. So this article really made me think and gave me reason to believe it can work. In the article it even said that these relationships are now lasting longer then relationships between white men and women! So the question is really to white guys who've been in these sorts of relationships, what have been your expierence? Do you think it can work?

I have volunteered to be gunged for charity. I've always wanted to be gunged (strange I know!) and I would like to get done in a wedding dress (even stranger). I'm asking if anyone would like to see me get gunged in a wedding dress and not just the normal 'shorts and a t-shirt?' I want to ask public opinion to know what I should wear. If it makes any difference, the gunge will either be 'real TV' gunge or custard or a mixture of both. What do you think?

--It may look large and shiny on him as opposed to the regular black tux/tie and white shirt (which-he will still look like a large handsome penguin, but the pink/champagne combo may make him look like the "HEY KOOL-AID" man)--suggestions...............

My fiance's White female friend of five years can't stand Black women but she loves Black men. Although I believe that it's because she's very insecure and is somehow threatened by Black women, my man always finds himself defending African-American females from her sterotypes. She knows about our wedding but feels hurt that my man invited everyone else except her on account of me so that there isn't any tension at the wedding. Should I invite her and kill her with kindness, or should I leave the decision up to my fiance? Or should I leave things the way they are? Afterall, if the girl can accept only one race's gender and is not accepting of the entire race, then is she not worth thinking about, especially on a day that's not her own?

P.S.
Before anyone starts assuming, no, they were never an item, they never messed around, and yes, I trust him.

During a wedding in southern africa the bride has to serve or hand over the cake to her inlaws and the groom does likewise to his inlaws. What does that represent?

I'm looking for a caterer in the San Diego, Mission Bay area to cater a reception of about 100 people next August, probably a Friday evening. The food would be simple and easy to eat as it will take place on the bay. I live about an hour and a half away so can meet up to arrange things.

Also, if they have tables, tableclothes, etc...that would be helpful but I can arrange otherwise. If you know anyone who might be interested in the business please let me know.

THANK YOU!

okay. so my boyfriend and i have been talking about marriage for a while now and have both agreed to wait until we graduate. my boyfriend found out he can graduate a semester early but i will still be in school until may. ( we still agreed to wait until i finished school to get engaged) he knows that i really want to get engaged asap and i dont want to wait until school is over but im willing to wait for when he is ready. anyways, a few days a ago we got into a huge fight because i lied to him about my grades and how much money i owed my credit card. during the fight the mentioned that he was going to propose in January but now that he cant trust me its not gonna happen. after the fight we talked things over and he said that he's still going to propose but not until he can trust me again. do you think he will still propose in jan? or did i screw up my chances of ever being married to him?

ok. i know i shouldn’t have lied, b

I have been dating my boyfriend for 6 months now, in the beginning there was a incident that went badly ( badly but not unforgivable, poor judgement camping and meeting new people - more drinking then should have occurred ) and some of my family and friends now don't care for him.....lets be real don't like him at all!
My sister is getting married in April of 07 and she just informed me that her future husband has said my boyfriend is not welcome at her wedding !! * GASP *
I am the maid of honor and my boyfriend is the one that measured me for my dress and we talked about how fun it was going to be to get dressed up together and do the wedding thing and get our pictures taken and how great the place they are getting married is, and how fun its going to be!

How am I suppose to tell him hes not allowed to be there now??
Am I being selfish here, after all its not my wedding !!

When should we get started on making it?

We are getting married in Vegas, and will have friends and family coming to join us. I would like to find a nice place for everyone to get together after the wedding to eat, and was wondering about a good place for this. I am thinking either a restaurant, or even a nice buffet. I would like to keep my cost to about $20/per person (yeah, I'm cheap...I'm getting married in Vegas) and will have a party of about 30-40.

I'm pretty informal, and would like someplace "cool" versus some place fancy. Any recommendations on places to check with for a reservation?

Me and my fiance have decided to get married out of country and I was wondering what the best way is for us to go about having a reception when we get back? Is there a certain amount of time you are expected to wait and are gifts out of the question?
