Cummerbunds are overrated, I think...they're like big man-sashes. Who needs that? He should probably be the one to make the final decision, but I would bet (if he's like most men out there) he either doesn't care or he will want to skip the big pink belt.
PS: Your question made me smile! I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful, regardless of what you choose.

Black and cream or champagne with a champagne coloured shirt would be quite chic...Avoid the pink especially on a big man...You don't want him to look like an "overdressed easter egg".
The cumberband and tie could be in a jacquard black and champagne or cream. With the champagne shirt and black suit/tux, again a rather elegant combination.. My son wore something on those lines for his wedding, but had a vest and matching tie, instead of a cumberband! (A vest looks very good on a corpulent person, sometimes better than a cumberband that may have a tendency to bunch up or move if it doesn't hold perfectly in place).
Good luck in your marriage, and have a lovely wedding!

I had a lot of nice portraits taken of my kids over the years. My favorite picture of my two kids is when they are wearing coordinated outfits. It is so cute. I think the outfits were from Gymboree so they had the same combinations of colors, just mixed in different, gender appropriate ways. My sister has a family picture every year when they all wear white tops and khakis. It's something a lot of photographers do. You also might want to dress them similarly, but in contrasting colors, such as both wearing primary colored tops and jeans, or something like that. What you don't want are hopelessly dissimilar outfits, that looks odd. I will warn you though that solid reds are very hard to match, unless they are produced as coordinated outfits, and not-quite-matching red won't look good.

Who cares what others think, if you like or want him to wear a matchinh cumberbun and tie, it's your wedding so go for it. Besides my husband is a little on the chunky side and he looked great in his cousins wedding and they wore apple red vest.

My fiance is wearing a vest instead of a cummerbund because he says cummerbunds are uncomfortable. Tell your fiance the colors and let him do what he is comfortable with in this situation. If he thinks he looks good in the cummerbund and you don't, remember that he is about to become YOUR Kool-Aid Man and that's what matters! :-)

Colored cumerbun to match dresses are way out of style for a wedding. For a prom, maybe but this isnt high school its your wedding. Go with black

LOL As long as he and the grooms men match. You might think of a dark color that will still fit in with your color scheme. That way he can still be debonair and match the wedding party.
