Hi Sachin,
I really salute u to hv such a nice thought. O-ve r Universal donor blood group. So, pls get ur name registered in some blood bank 2 really help people in need as -ve groups r rare. So, U r SPECIAL & DIFFERENT.
Now, as per ur question---it is necessary dat ur partner should b hvn sum -ve group(A-ve,B-ve.AB-ve,O-ve). if she has a +ve grp then there wl b pregnancy & delivery complications. So, confirm her blood grp b4 marriage 4 her & ur child safety. But sns -ve is a rare grp don,t loose heart. These days even if u get goin wth a +ve grp no problem, just dat u need 2 hv a good monitoring during her pregnancy & gv her Ig 4 her grp 2 prevent hazards.
choosing -ve grp partner is a preventive But by chance if +ve grp partner then cure 4 everythng is there.
So, get going. HAVE A HAPPY WEDDED LIFE. MAY U GET UR RIGHT PARTNER SOON

There is no problem if both you and your wife have the same blood group. There is very little to choose, as far as blood group of spouse is concerned. However both can get themselves tested for thalassemia trait if coming from areas where thalassemia is common ie. north, east, central India. When the wife is expecting, get blood groups of both partners done and proceed from there

Unless you plan on regularly getting blood transfusions from your spouse, blood type doesn't matter.
