All they had to do was marry a few months ago and their lovely child who is going to be a lovely adult won't hate the two of them for their selfishness. When she is able to fully understand what her parents did to her legacy, she is not going to be a happy camper like so many of her Hollywood contemporaries. When will these parents learn?

She won't hate them. She'll grown up to be a good, happy Scientologist with a plastic smile, fake happiness, and plenty of money to rid herself of the aliens that infest her poor innocent body.
In other words, they will have her too brainwashed to believe anything other than the Scientology way of things.
I don't think it's a big deal that they didn't, but I do wonder why the hell not. They were planning to anyway, so... ?

NO child deserves to be called a BASTARD
you may not agree with the parents activities - BUT remember the child is the innocent party here.
it is hard enough starting out in a marriage without have the stresses associated with pregnancy on your mind as well; have the child then if things are still going ok then get married
ALSO the ""father"" cannot then say ( as has happened in the past)) I only married you cos you were pregnant.
if you have kids yourself who is to say that one of them will not take that same path

That's the least of that child's problem. Her father Tom Cruise, is a nutcase who goes around preaching about everything he knows nothing about while jumping up and down on couches. Her mother, Katie, fell in "love" with Tom Cruise when he was a poster on her teenaged girl bedroom wall. Now she's his little Stepford "wife".

Very few people these days care whether someone's parents were married when the person was born or not. You are in the minority in your distaste for the practice. I imagine they waited until after the baby was born because it was of no consequence whether the child was born before their marriage or not.
No one's legacy has been harmed here. You've got to get with the times.

They didn't marry before having their bastard because that's what most of the USA is doing now...raising a nation of bastards who have no idea who their father was (neither is their mother sure which man impregnated her)
