I'm 18 and my gf is 16. And she and I live very far about 2000kms. I met her on mobile dating dated Aug 10th, 2005. She's Christian and I'm Hindu. She and I have chatted everyday and every moment. I love her so much and she also. But one day, I told her I want her as life partner and want to love as BELOVED then she told me that FORGET it. I asked her, "Dont u love me"? She told me she loves but she dont want to against parents. And she told me she loves me as BEST friend. And I asked her that you love another? She told me she doesnt coz she has me so she doesnt need anyone.
When I get absent for little bit time then she gets tensed and worry abt me,"she told".
Her talking style is very romantic.
Now let me know wht should I do?
How should I tell her I love her so much and want to marry.

I'm getting married next Friday my fiancee' and I has been together for 6 years and don't want a big wedding at all (we are going to city hall) but our family is giving us a lot of bull about it. Would you care what your family has to say?

I gave then $2500.00 to go to the Smokey Mountains because they had spend so much on the wedding that they could not travel. I wanted this to be special for them and he goes and wants to take from his trip money to do this I guess thats why I am so upset. But I am not going to tell....I gave him the money with no strings attached.....its his bad choice

Well, I have not asked my girl to marry me yet, but we have talked about it alot and I was just thinking...my family is quite small but can't travel, and her family is huge. I am American and she is Canadian. There are just SO many obstacles against us having a traditional wedding. To be honest, I don;t want one anyway. Is it unfair to her for me to ask her if she wants to elope? We are students and it would be foolish to spend that much money on a big wedding anyway...just a thought. What do you think? Any ideas?

My family has a tradition of a heritage ring, and I have asked for it. It is a beautiful ring, and has quite a bit of history, but it needs alot of refinishing. Any thoughts...should I use it, where can I get it refinished, etc.?

Does wearing a black wedding dress ruin tradition...or add a unique touch to your wedding.

My son's fiance's family is rich, we are not. They gave the two of them a substantial amount of money for there wedding and then informed my son that it is up to the grooms parents to pay for the honeymoon. They are going to hawaii. As I said we are not well off and we don't have 4 or 5 thousand dollars to shell out.

OK- I'll say low to middle budget. No camping or anything like that!! Can be in the US or other..... anywhere but tropical... I get really sick in tropical places. We wanted to go to ireland but it's looking like it would be about expensive due to the Euro dollar rate.
Any suggestion for something for under $2,000 for a week thats nice?
It would be in NOV 2007

My fiance was in a wedding and the Bride invited me to every single shower, I never even got to see a real wedding invitation tho! I got her all kinds of good presents, spent a pretty penny on them because they are good friends of mine. I felt like it was kinda rude tho because it seemed to me that she was ok with asking for presents, but they didnt want to spend the extra 1.50 to actually ask me to come to their wedding. I know it was implied that I would be their with my fiance, but it was obviously not implied for me to just come bring her presents--they made darn sure of that! I plan to make certain that everyone who is invited to a shower of mine gets a wedding invite! What are your feelings on it?

I am trying to decide what to get my sister and her fiance for their wedding gift. Most guests get the bride and groom houseware for their new home. Both of them already have everything that they need for their home. I want to get them something/do something for them that is personal. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Why do bakers charge per serving. Why cant i just buy a cake for a set price rather than based on the number of people that will be attending my wedding. Is there a reason behind it?

Here's the basic scenario, because I know certain factors play into it. He is 36, I am soon to be 30. I was married once before, but have never had a wedding (the first marriage I eloped at a justice of the peace). We are financially stable, my fiance makes the money, not me, I am still barely making it. What is customary to expect from our parents as far as expenses for our wedding? Or are we considered too old to have parents help pay for the wedding.

My wedding is not until next year, but I am having a problem with one of myu bridesmaids. I want all the dresses to be the same, as is traditional. She has insisted that she has never before heard of the bride picking out the bridesmaids dresses and has insisted that if she does't like what I pick out that she will not buy it or wear it!

Why would she do this? I can't believe her, I am so upset!

Do you think it’s rude for someone to ask to attend your wedding?

For instance, my step-sister has friends that I know as acquaintances. The other day when she, my step-sister, called me she asked how the wedding planning was going. And all of the sudden I hear her friend asking her, to as me, if she can go to my wedding. Normally this would not offend me but due to what ever reason it did.

Am I wrong for thinking that she is rude for that?

I mean I have seen her a few times….. but she and I have no attachments, other than my step-sister.

My wife didn't want one. She liked the color of a tanzanite better.

If you don't want a diamond, why? Color? Cost? The terrible conditions the diamond market causes in Africa? The fact that it isn't really that rare? The fact that they don't really last forever?

If you do want a dimond, is it just for traditions sake? Do you like the clearness of a diamond? The fact that it costs more?

My fiancé and I are getting married next weekend and his father just told us today they would not have the funds in time to help with his part of the costs. So, this means no rehearsal dinner and either my fiancé and I or my parents will have to come up with the money for his tux and the flowers. I gave his parents the opportunity to tell us a month ago if they couldn't come up with the money in time. Also, his parents paid for his brothers entire wedding three years ago. Anytime it comes to me and my fiancé his family thinks my parents should pay for everything. Is it wrong of me to be upset with his parents? I have enough stuff to worry about for the wedding and now I have this to worry about too. If I tell my parents that his family is not helping out financially, they are going to go through the roof! Any advice on how I should handle this situation?

Oh... and his family is about 75 percent of the guest invited to the wedding.

OK- maybe this is a dumb question but I seriously don't know if the sales lady was just trying to get me to register for it anyways or if it will look OK.
We just bought an antique dinning room table and it's oval. I have never owned an oval table before. Can you put a Oblong table cloth on it? Will it look right?? I was afraid it would hang funny in the corners. The store I am registered at has nice linen table cloths but they do NOT make the oval shape in any of the brands. And Yes, I did check other stores but it seems they are also limited in shapes and sizes for fine linen tableclothes.
