Of course this is normal! Have you looked at divorce rates right now? Before you decide to go through with a big step like this, you need to think long and hard about your decision. Never jump right in. Make sure you are with the person for the right reasons. I suggest talking to a counselor or minister (not for religious purposes) because they are experts in the field and they can ask questions that you need to answer.

Yes it is normal. If you feel that the man you are with is the one you want to spend the rest of your life with, to honour and to love through sickness and in health, through all troubles that might come upon you, you can get married but maybe you do feel this way because this is a big decision and it will be a pivitol decision that will change your life forever. I suggest you speak with your local pastor or even go to your boy friend. May Jesus Bless you two.

Absolutely! I was terrified, it was such a huge step and we hadn't even had an argument yet. With everyone talking about the divorce rate and all, it got very confusing, but we both talked about it (he was nervous too!) and decided that this was something we both REALLY wanted to do and to hell with all the naysayers. We're dedicated to each other and each other's happiness.

And by the way... that was 10 years ago and we're still happy as newlyweds.

yes it is perfectly normal, everybody goes through it. It comes with the territory, b/c you have never ventured towards this time in your life until now and it causes some anxieties and worries. Everything is going to be alright

Of course. Marriage is a life long commitment, it's normal to be nervous before making such a huge decision.
