If not, please explain why you are not married to the love of your life. How did you miss eachother in life?

1 What profession are you both in?
2 How long did you date prior to marriage?
3 Was this your first marriage?
4 How old were you when you married?
5 How long have you been married?
6 Are you happily married?

Please answer the top part in paragraph format. Please write more than 6 sentences. Please answer the 6 questions. Please do not post answers like, "I am not married" because the question clearly indicates that you are. This question is not for everyone. I am doing a research project on love.

Please share your story with detail because I am all ears.

i tried to reconcile with my son. god knows how i tried. he's the world to me along with my grown daughter who i see every now & then & she never shuts me out of her life. i send him cards call him email him &ask about my granddaughter.. he hangs up the phone & i just want to cry. i have a pet & i don't want him to see me cry.. my pet deserves to be happy. i'm the only one he can depend on. i just love my dog. i want to live but at times i feel so suicidal.. i miss my son so much. i was so abused by my ex husband & left him. my children were also abused while they were growing up..can't my son see this & how it has affected me. i finally met a nice man who treats me good... thank god. i love children & i have a 2yr old granddaughter who i haven't seen since she was 6 months. he only lets my daughter & ex husband see the child. ........my son must think i'm crazy if i''ll ever take his abusive dad back. i was living in hell.. history won't repeat it self in my book

I am a 20 year old lady.

Age is only a number, after all.

Age does NOT matter...unless you are a cheese or wine.

I give him hints, but he doesn't seem to get them and never initiates love making. He loves to watch TV in his spare time. I don't understand why he doesn't see that I need attention. I've lost weight, set romantic atmospheres, and dress up and everything. Another guy checks me out pretty frequently, and it feels really nice to have the attention. I never thought I would enjoy this type of attention after I got married. I feel horribly about this. What should I do?

Why you think you shouldn't get married.

I didn't want to get married, Now i think it best because you can be with your mate, you do anything together. Well I think it's best when you both understand each other and respect each other space because that alone can avoid stupid fights.

You know to be honest, its really hard to tell sometimes these days. As STUPID AS THAT MAY SOUND. When it comes to relationships, do you think people truely wanna be happy? With the way we treat each other, from the way things looks sometimes. Do people wanna be happy? Or do they wanna be selfish?

Now I know that might sound stupid! But you gotta look at relationships and wonder whether or not people wanna be happy. . .

Thoughts?

I don't know what kind of reaction I'll get. She's way too hot to be a mom. It gets a bit weird because sometimes she'll unknowingly treat me like I'm her son.

In fact, it may be a couple more months at the rate things are going. But I still live in the house--I won't abandon my kids. It hasn't been decided who's going to get what yet. Maybe I'll get the house, maybe she will. I'm not looking for a full-blown relationship, but I would enjoy the company. Maybe I should just be patient....

she has in the recent past gotten in trouble 4 spending a lot of time talking 2 the receptionist on duty. abt a month ago she was told that if it happened again shed be fired. since then has improved. so anyways, the other night @ work she was sitting w/ the receptionist 4 abt 15 minutes, both on the phone w/ her husband (five minutes) & the rest of the time calling 2 remind her patients of dinner, ect. @ this point 1 of the patients called 4 help 2 get up, but she is pregnant & dr says she can only lift 25 lbs. she told other worker that was there w/ her that she could help her w/ the patient, but not lift her. the other worker then started yelling, saying what the hell good r u then, ur going 2 get fired from ur job if u cant lift...when she said that she could still help just not lift, the other girl said get the hell out of here. girl then called boss, 2 tell abt her sitting. even tho most was spent working. friend worried abt losing job, but also mad that girl yelled @ her.

Would you forgive or at least feel better if your spouse/partner took you to the person the affair was with, broke up with them and then told them that their intention was not to have a relationship or leave their current partner, but because he/she was lonely?

in cases where women have an affair, then give birth to the lovechild of the affair, but not tell their husband, and then one day he finds out about the affair, divorces, get stuck with child support thinking the child was his, has a dna test, and then confirms he is not the father, and then stops paying child support for the child that is not his. legally however courts have ruled that once "bonded" to the child, that the man still must pay child support or face jail time. in effect the courts do not want a single mother ( from divorced or just single ) to be on welfare, they want a man, any man, to pay for it, it is not necessarily in the best interest in the child, it is the best interest of the state, it is the only crime ( fraud ) in which a women can commit and the courts will take her word ( there is no verification like DNA testing when naming the father on a birth certificate ) at face value

I have been living with someone for 15 years in the state of New Jersey. It is my condo...he gives me a little $ each month. My question is...if I die, will a judge say that since we have been together so long, the house will be his. I have a will and everything is going to my children. I hear there is no "common law" ruling in NJ as of yet. I did ask 2 lawyers and they said there would be no point in making a "living together contract." Can anyone advise me please??? I am terribly worried about this.

When I was 19, I got involved with a man who was 36 (yes, he was married then). I loved him, but after about 3 months together, I broke things off. Still, over the next 3 years we hooked up with each other about once every month. Sometimes more, sometimes less. We talked and laughed and loved. I was crazy about him and he was about me. I knew he could never leave his wife for me and I never asked him to. I always settled for what part of him I could get. When I was 22, I got married. This ended us for about 5 years. Then, we met up with each other again. I realized then that I still loved him very much. But, I had made a committment to my husband and I honored that committment. My problem is that I still love this other man. I think about him every day. I miss him so much sometimes that it breaks my heart. He called a couple of months ago and said he still loved me too. It's not about sex. We haven't had sex in 8 years. How do I get over him and move on with my life?

I was talking to my boyfriend about this and I expressed to him that I have no intentions of changing my last name. I have had to spell my first name my entire life, but my super easy last name makes up for it. If I were to take my boyfriend's last name, then I would be spelling both my first and last name for the rest of my LIFE. Besides that, I really just like my name and it just seems to fit me and be so much of a part of me that I could not imagine being called something else. He became kinda upset and feels it is only right for the woman to take the mans last name. He asked me to compromise by hyphenating. That is not an option either. He feels that my independent nature is the real reason behind me refusal to change my name, but it really is more about keeping my identity...the person I have been all my life. Am I wrong? Selfish?

Can you actually stop loving someone or do you just ignore the feelings you have, put the past behind you and move on with your life?

Assuming there was no abuse, no cheating, no fighting...things just didn't work out due to circumstances beyond your control.
