my parents divorced after being married for 27 years, and they get along better now than ever before. they'll never get back together - and us kids are fine with that because we want them to be happy - but they were friends long enough that they see the value in getting along. not everyone is able to do that, so we think that's kind of cool.

yes me and my ex have a very good relationship we have two boys together and it took awhile but its strange how you can still be friends and how much the children do appreciate knowing that we can all (me ,my husband, and ex) go too school function's and watch the children with out any fighting name calling or belittling each other. alot of people seem freaked out and think its weird that we all get along but i dont i believe God wants us too be kind and love each other and the only way i can teach my children that is through my behavior and therefore i can not be selfish and i must respect my ex despite what happened in the past.

My husband and I have been seperated for years, we never had kids but we talk almost everyday we are good terms.
My Mom and Dad seperated years ago, at first when Mom and I moved Dad did not want me to come over, but I still did, eventually within the next few years my parents started to get along as friends on and off it was not easy they are on better terms but do argue on and off still.

I have a good relation with my ex. We learned to put aside our differences for our son. It's worked out quite well. My son is very happy to have both of us equally in his life.
