Just telling you guys I'm not wanting to end my life. Anyway I'm a first LT of the US Marines stationed in Iraq and was expecting to go home in 4 days. Guess what my Colonel gave me some bad news and says that my squadron has to stay in this hell hole for 6 more months. If that wasn't bad enough about a week ago while were on patrol I told my brother to scout an area and he gets snipered and dies. I was suppose to attend his funeral when I get back but then can't because of this. I have a beautiful 4 year old daughter who I haven't seen about a year and a beautiful wife. I haven't told them yet but will soon. This kinda sucks big time. I actually cried.

My best friend has been married for 35 years and her and her husband havn't had sex AT ALL for the last 20 years. She wants it but he tells her that there is more to marriage than just sex.
She thinks he is getting it elsewhere.

A friend of mine was sued for seeing a married woman for something called alienation of affection. Personally I think this law is Brilliant. What are your thoughts?

My great uncle is in his 60s and he's married to a young woman who's 21. My aunt (great uncle's daughter) is in her 40s, so she's uncomfortable about this. She feels that woman only marries him for his money (which I think is true) because she keeps spending on his money non-stop. And my great uncle doesn't seem to care whether she loves him or not as long as he gets to keep her. So my aunt is worry about what that gold-digger might do with her family fortune.

Okay, I know I sound like everyone else, but here's for trying! My husband of 12 years is an alcoholic, with all the problems that that causes. He does not want to stop drinking even after jail, prison, counseling, medication, etc. I have decided to leave him, but therein lies my problem. I am not employed and I am take care of my 91 year old mom. I have no income other than her SS. My daughter lives in S.D. and I could go there, but I have a house and property here plus lots of things to move, also have animals that I am responsible for. I have no help here as I know nobody who could help me go through things (lots of stuff) and help me pack, as I cannot do it by myself. I need enough money to rent a moving van and all that. Once I get to SD I can gain employment so I will have an income. It is
just too overwhelming to try and do it all from this end. So, how do I get enough money to move, and how do I do it? Anyone?

It seems like wealthy men leave their wives or partners (once and they old) to go for much younger women. Is there any wealthy man out there that stays with his wife or partner?

In general, I think the info that says sex is very close 2 the top of the list of men's needs & right alongside of that is that the woman is supposed to try real hard to look good 4 the man. This SEEMS so so shallow to me because as a female human I'd like to be valued for who I am, but I know I only see it from a female's point of view. I feel people should be appreicated for the "inside of the cookie" for in a marriage, what is it that really makes it last ?/ I know there has to be love & affection, but if men so strongly desire a good looking woman who is sexy, is that all it takes for a good marriage ? In my mind's eye, in relationships in general & love relationships, why is looks & sex so important or it seems to be like 98% important when isn't it a good hearted, loving, well rounded person that usually makes a relationship work ? i am not at all against sex, but ? men, help ?

The spouse suffered mental, physical and emotional abuse during the time of the affair and the birth of the child. To date, the spouse still suffers abuse. Help.

OK, I live in America, he lives in India. WE did have a three month courtship period. We saw each other once a month, and spoke every week on the phone. Now, i"m in the states, he's still in INdia, waiting to come over. We still only speak once a week. We agreed this was sufficient since neither had much to say to one another. I don't carry his pic wherever I go; I just don't. I don't want to loose it. plus, he's my guy, so sooner or later, he'll be seen by all. But it seems I'm a bit odd compared to most indian girls in love with their men...especially one's who are newly wed...because once a week is enough for me, and I have enough pics of him in my heart, and in my room, i don't need to carry it around. I hear we need to act inseparable, so then when we're together, it'll be common, and our marriage will flow smooth for years to come. We sort of act like an old married couple; but he's not complaining. We know we miss and love each other. We're just not outward 'bout it. I get advic

I'm in my early 30s and I've been in just 2 relationships of 1.5 years each. I know is nice to have company, but until now, the "nice" girl that cross my path, I can see is a wolf with a sheep custome and it doesn't take a long time for me to see the truth, and why I don't commit. My point is I am considering to spend the rest of my life by myself, has anyone out there took a similar decision and got to his 40, 50 and say it's been a good decision?, have you thought on staying single for the rest of your life in your 20s or 30s?

How many relationships have you been in and how many times have you cheated or been cheated on? Be honest.

Out of the 9 girls I've dated in my life, I've been cheated on 3 times. Later on I cheated on two girls.

So 3 girls cheated on me out of 9
and I've cheated 2 out of 9

copy and pasted this with your answers:

A) number of relationships I've been in
B) how many times I've been cheated on
C) how many times I've cheated

My husband and I have been married for over 4 years now, and we have a beautiful little boy. In the 4 years we have been married we have actually been "living together" maybe 2. I work very hard to make my husband a nice home, and try to get debt off us whenever he is deployed. However the moment that he comes back, we go right back into debt again from his spending sprees. Because of that I have had to go back to work, and because of the strain on cash I had to find a job that I could take my son with me so we wouldn't have to pay for child care...which means I work 7 days a week, with no days off ever. I am looking for another job, but this is all I can find right now to keep us from financial ruin. Somedays I just look at my husband and want to leave. Just say you take your half of the debt and I'll take mine. We dont connect like we used to, he spends his time playing games online. I just dont know what to do, I made a vow to him and I want to keep it. Its just very hard.

okay, i could be considered horrible for this, as well...but, o well, here goes...

my husband and i have been arguing a lot lately about the dumbest stuff...like, who is getting up with the baby, who is doing dishes...stupid trivial stuff...

i have brushed it off as stress. he just switched jobs, we just bought a new car, my job is getting on my nerves, we have a 10 month old, just got custody of his 7 year old and i am 2 months pregnant...so a lot of stress...

i figured it would work itself out..

so, for the past week or two, i haven't been able to say so much as "good morning" to my husband without feeling like he is chewing my head off and spitting it out...

horrible as it is, i checked his work email. i found messages in there to a girl in another office about how he doesnt like me half the time but he loves me and he doesnt think we are compatible and a bunch of other **** that makes me look and feel terrible.

i don't know how to interpret this...please help!?!?!

What if your husband betrays your trust and you really want to make things work and forgive and move on, but you don't know how?
In my heart I know he is remorseful, but how do I forgive and rebuild the trust?
Even though I want to do it, I find myself feeling SO angry and I can't let it go.

Any advice?

My divorce from my wife (or may as well be her damn interfering mother) has been finalized.

Should I go and party, get depressed, or just go to bed and forget about it? There's a lot of anger about the mistreatment I've endured at the hands of her family (and her supporting their abuses, not just against me but the kids too) - but I still love her also.

What do you folks reckon?

I got into a debate with my mom on this.

She says that if a man is willing to spent $1000 on a ring for you, it means he's really committed and your marriage is likely to last longer.

I'm not a materialistic person, so I could care less how much a man spends on my ring.
I'd take a pretty $20 zirconium ring over a tiny $900 diamond any day.

Plus, I don't think it has any relation to the strength of your marriage.

In fact, if 2 people can love each other despite the price of the ring, wouldn't their love be STRONGER sine it's not based on material wealth?

What do you think?
