Marriage & Divorce - 22 July 2007

Her husband admitted to me that he cheated at least twice, he told me he will change but his wife is my best friend and I dont like keeping the secret from her. Plus they have a child and family business that would go under if they got divorced. Is it my place to tell?

This question is for my sister. She has just started a job and her husband does not want her to work. He thinks she should stay home and take care of their baby. He's a control freak and he has threatened to kick her to the curb (previously), which is another reason she needs a job...to save some $ just in case. Long story short, he is making it very difficult for her and trying to get her to quit by making her home life miserable (ie not letting her sleep at night and not helping with their child). Does anyone have any advice or suggestions I can pass on to her.

My fiance and I both work for the same company located on the east coast. My fiance works in the same office as his boss, but my boss lives in another state (along the east coast as well). We are getting married on the west coast, and will be inviting some friends from work. Here's where it gets sticky: my fiance is going to invite his boss. Since we all work for the same company, should I invite my boss as well? My boss will probably not come, but should I extend an invitation to her, or will it just look like I'm fishing for gifts (which I'm not, but I don't want her to feel left out)?

He will often throw something and cuss which makes it obvious to me he is upset at me (usually over something small like me rushing him to get ready if we're late for something), but when I confront him about it and ask him if I've upset him, he will act like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. He says he's not mad at all and that he doesn't understand why I would think he is...when I explain that his behavior expressed anger, he claims to not know what I'm talking about and he'll change the subject. I think he's probably trying to avoid confrontation, but I need him to be honest about his feelings and let me know when he's mad at me instead of lying about it or trying to cover it up... Has anyone dealt with this before? How should I handle this behavior?

I left him last year for a guy at my work. We where married for almost 14 years. Sometimes when we talk about the kids he gets emotional and starts crying and telling me how much he misses me and still loves me. You would think that after 10 months he should be over me right? I tell him to get over it and move on and then he tells me that I lack a conscience. Why is he holding on??

What everybody think about this...?
Almost 4 month ago My husband and I we are living apart. He is in his home and I'm living with my parents.
And my husband is dating somebody already!!! For me is disrespectful!!! I'm very sad because I never will do that to him, so fast !
For 2 weekends his car was not there and I pass by his home around 11:30 pm, and las friday was a car seating in his driveway..hmmmm I'm assume he is dating a women??
Very sad...and we still married !!! We did not starting with the divorce , we are just living apart, we are not legally separated either
Do you think I'm right in being upset or he should do wherever he wants???Anyway I do not going to tell him anything

I feel tired of arguing so much with my husband and wish I had a happier marriage. We have been married for several years and he has called me names such as ***** and idiot. He calls me these names randomly not just when it's an argument. For example, a few years ago we were out at dinner and I ordered a glass of wine. The waitress asked me if I wanted a second glass of wine and I said sure. My husband immediately said "*****!" I understand that glasses of wine can add up, but there is no excuse for this. Now we have a child and he has called me a bad mother more than once. He has said I can't cook, clean, not fun, and that I'm bad in bed. Lately, he suddenly blamed me for him losing a guy friend from college. He said that because I didn't like this guy that it's my fault that my husband isn't friends with this person any longer. He treats me like a child and bosses me around. He says "a good woman would do this or that". What should I do? Help!

NOT ME.....but, I know people that have done it, and still do it, and I just think it's sad and boring.I chose not to be bored and got a divorce. I just don't see how people can live in the same house with someone they really don't want to be around.

My hubby is an officer! He's been one for 4 years! We got into our first big arguement about it! And yeah it was b/c we (kids and I) never see him! Which I never had a problem with before! Ok got over it! Now anytime we argue his work keeps comeing up! I know most officers end up in divorce, I dont want this to happen! breasts left after having my implants removed, I was left with much less then I had before I got the implants, basically I am pretty flat. Do you think any man would find me attractive sexually if I were to be single again? Other then my breasts I have a nice figure.
I had health issues related to the implants thats why I had them out. I have better sensation in my nipples now but I am so flat.

We just bought our townhouse 4 months ago and he hasn't shared any of the mortgage payment. I payed everything, from downpayment, bank fees and monthly mortgage payment. We also have a car that I have paid off myself. As you can see I am the bread winner in the family. my husband doen't have a permanent job. we have been married for 4 years. but out of those years, i'd say 3 years straight, i was the in charge of all the bills even grocery. sometimes he gets a part-time job but he keeps his wage to himself. my question is,will the family law court split our property in halves eventhough he has not shared that much? isn't that unfair? please advise. thank you very much
