This is why we shouldn't rush into anything too soon. It takes years for two people to really get to know one another. Within 3 - 5 years most people know their mate or friend very well. Most secrets are revealed in this time frame. It would seem that if someone were a child killer, others would discover this before becoming seriously involved with this person. Personally I would not put myself in this situation. However, if I were lied to or fooled by someone that I cared about, then I would rethink my connection with this person and probably let them go because they were not a true friend to begin with. We're talking about someone that consciously murdered a child! I can not judge people, but I would certainly keep my distance from such. So, how would I feel if I discovered that I had married a child killer without knowing? I wouldn't because that just would not happen to me.

I would be devastated IF that happened and I would leave immediately. Then, when safely away, I would tell the world all about him and blow his cover..., but I am sure I would somehow know there was something evil about the person and would not even be in the same company he/they kept so would hope I would never have married him.

There is a total badness in them that could be passed on to their children, if they ever have any.

I hope they find it hard to sleep nights. They should have been locked up forever. Let us hope it has been made impossible for either of them to have a family.

Why do you ask. There must be a reason that question came to mind.....Are you a girl or are you pretending to be a girl to see how the land lies!!!!?

Oh, more info please. What's happening?? I lived in the UK when Jamie got killed and I know the killers were released etc but I know nothing more. Anyone knowing what had happened to that poor child would be revolted to even be close to one of those monsters, let alone sleep with him. Turns my stomach. I now have a child around Jamie's age and I can't imagine what Denise must go through everyday knowing what they did to her baby.

I would feel so sick if I discovered that I had unknowingly married one of them.... obviously I would want them out of my life immediately, and I think I would probably go public with the news of where and what identity they are living under now.

Personally I don't think they should have ever been released - to be able to commit such a horrific crime at such a young age is so scary, who knows what they would be capable of now.

I would imagine that someone will soon let her know. In her position I would leave him immediately...but then perhaps she's attracted to him because she's made of the same stuff. Or is there a chance that he has completely changed? I don't think I would be able to overlook that kind of past, and I would not forgive him for hiding it from me.

Shocked, and sick to my stomach, but I would want to know what the circumstances were - was it a brutal act or an unfortunate accident? I would need to know.

BTW: With the name "Bulger", it is a possibility that I might be a relative.

Well it is not only that he killed a child, it is HOW he killed him!
And if his bride to be knows he cannot be trusted with bricks and children, then they deserve each other!
Personally I think they, (Jon Venables and Robert Thompson), should have been led away by the hand, taken to an isolated spot, and THEIR heads smashed in with a brick.
Oh. I am NOT the forgiving type!
