Every anniversary should be celebrated with as much enthusiasm of the 1st . What does she like? Is there a certain thing she collects? Is she a very busy person? Maybe a day spa certificate. Take her to her favorite restaurant and spend quality time together. I am glad to hear that there are some willing to make things work. Many blessings for making it to another year together.

They are all a big deal. Congratulations! You could ask her, "What would you like to do for our anniversary? Would you like to go out?" Then have a couple of suggestions ready in case she doesn't know. That way she will be able to look forward to the date. Be sure to get a nice card.
I'm not sure how much you want to spend but one idea for a gift is a "journey" necklace. It has a curved charm (with diamonds or fake diamonds). Personally, I don't care for gift certificates, but it's better than nothing.

As a veteran of 26 wedding anniversary's, what you get her is not as important as what you commit to. Your actions will speak louder than your cheque book. I've done everything from giant rabbit food (lots of carets) to exotic trips. One of the best was simply taking a day off work, taking her golfing (her favorite) and cooking supper.

Good luck.
