I have been married twice and am still with my second husband. My first husband was two years older than me and my current husband is two months younger. I married at 19 the first time and at 27 the second time.
My former uncle remarried his ex wife after more than a decade of being divorced. They're still together. My friend had been married 4 times, twice to the same man. The second marriage to the same man lasted all of two weeks.
Personally, I think an ex is an ex for a reason and have no need to revisit failed relationships.

get ready to laugh...
First/ pregnant...misscarried 1 week after wedding and he cheated anyway
Second/parents said we were living in sin and wouldn't come see us until we got married....commercial fisherman..lame
Third/actually thought was love...hahaha. Ask the 15 year old he slept with....
Fourth/Thought was love, ended up being an abuser, and alcoholic
At some point I had to realize marriage doesn't work for everyone. And even when you are in love, sometimes over time you grow out of it, and evolve into different people.
But then I know people who have been married for 20 years to the same person and are still in love and cute together.

why do people who have been married more than once always say this is the last because he/she is so wonderful? I'm sure you said he same thing the first time you got married!

I dont have any personal experience..But know some true stories.
She is 55 or more and got married 4 times. Now she is enjoyng her " 4th Honey Moon" in Paris. She got married her first husband 2 times ( 1st and 4 th marrige) and second and 3 rd marrige with her husband's brother..
So cool.. yah. Anyway she is very happy and enjoyng.... Why dont we try hahhaha....

Yes i married my 2nd husband x 2. We were married in 1985 got divorced in 92. i moved to missouri, he lived in Texas. remarried him again in 1995. He was worse than the 1st time, he had stared doing drugs & drinking. i knew he was a alcholic but what i didn't know was i was to. on our 1 yr annv. i was back in mo. this time i stayed & got a divorce in 99. i found out you have to remember why it didn't work the firt time. When i came back to Mo,in96 I started going to AA with a friend & i will have 10 yrs. soberity by the grace of god in Oct.l

i have been married two times my first wife had an affair and got pregnant my second wife kicked me and my three children out of the house for another man.
