I have been married for about 9 years seperated two of them and i am still not happy we have been working on this so called relation ship for about 1 1/2 years. i know he cares but i do not love him in any way sooooooo

We met 6 weeks ago ,he's34 never been married and I'm 32 and have a 10 year old and 6 year old twins. My bf is very concerned about me having the kids and how holidays will be and that he has to have somebody else's family in his life !
I really like the guy and I just want him to try, go give a chance ,but I don't know how to react to this situation.....
He sais he likes me a lot ,but we should stay friends !...How can I stay friends when I have fillings for him and we are having sex ?...Is this normal ?

If love is the universal understanding of existence; are you capable of loving your life partner and someone else of the same gender of your life partner, husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend etc...
without feeling a sort of personal wrong doing and accept when your life mate see's that behaviour as adulterous?,

We have been married 4 years and friendship was the basis more than anything else for our marriage. I was sure I was happily married my first two years apart from the fact that sometimes I felt very lonely with him and he never could talk about things openly and honestly. Emotionally he is not there plus he is quiet patronising towards me. Lately he drives me up the wall with put-downs and sneering. Passion is gone if it was ever there, no sex for 3 years or even kissing. We tried counselling, wthen finally I got a confession out of him, that he did not want kids with me since he was not sure of our relationship. Surprise-surprise! I seem to have a huge difficulty to get over this. I was no angel either as I had an affair with my first love. It was a very bad choice and I learnt a lot. Anyway, these days I feel so sad and can't imagine having babies with him or even being intimate. Of course, I don't want to bring kids into this. Have you been in a similar story? How can I move on?

against me if you were going on a date with me? I ask that because when a women has an affair and leaves her husband there was something missing in the marriage. I've figured out what it was and I want to get back in a long term relationship. After 15 years I spent more time being a father than a romantic husband and my ex needed alot of love. I'm getting married soon. Evrything's going great. I'm planning to get a bigger house. Only prob is...I don't like the idea of my parents staying in a different house by themselves. I want to take care of them and keep them in my "line-of-sight". They are in their sixties. I don't know how to tell my girlfriend that. I suppose evry girl wants to set up a family in their own house without in-laws. My girlfriend's parents have passed away.

my aunt who's now 49 has a 12 yr old with her new husband of 13 yrs. While being pregnant they got into a really big argument over money and he decided to walk out and leave. She was about 2 months pregnant when he left. While being gone he came across many women and slept with them. When he figured he missed my aunt he came back to her when she was 9 months only 1 week to her due date. He gave her this bull that he was miseble without her and hadn't slept with other people. So- time passed & my little cousin who is now 12 was only 5. My uncle had a drinking problem and started having kidney problems so on a random doctor visit he found out he was HIV pisitive. I went to the doctor with my aunt & him to translate what was going on with his kidneys when I had to break the news to him. My aunt was so devastated & angry!! She had problems with him cheating before and because of that she decided not to sleep with him during those 5 1/2 years. She had the choice to leave but didnt

Me and myboyfriend ahve been together 3 years.We have a one year old son. Our sex life is still as good as wen we 1st met. He started a new job 3months ago. Since then i feel as tho he is nt as n to me as he used to be. He works all day and most saturdays. I know he is tired and stressed about work.I also know he would never cheat on me.He isn totally against being unfaithful and lying. I just feel as tho he is getting bored with me. State of Florida

If my wife and I sign, date and get notarized a divorce settlement today, will I be able to go buy a house tomarrow free and clear of her? ... or do I have to wait until the courts/judge sign off on it?

My thoughts are that the signed divorce settlement is a binding contract on that date and not the date that the courts/judge sign off on.

We've been together for over 5 years (married for three) and from the beginning I have been clear about wanting to have a child/children at some point. She claimed that until she met me, she never wanted kids, but that she had changed her mind and wanted to have a kid(s) together. It became a question of "when" not "if" we were going to have kids. Hell, we have had multiple conversations about what names we would use for a boy vs. a girl. Now that all of the boxes have been checked (health issues resolved, bigger house, she's about to turn 30, I'm 34), she has suddenly turned a 180 and says she's not sure that she will ever want to have children (naturally or through adoption). Needless to say, I was shocked and feel very betrayed by a person that I love very much. I'm willing to give counseling a try, but I'm not sure she will ever come around. If that is the case, how do you decide between someone you love and something you've dreamed of your entire life?

If a person goes out all the time and leaves their significant other at home with the kids....should they charge to babysit?? I know the kids are the responsibility of both parties, but he/she would have to pay someone to do it if they weren't there, so why shouldn't the one at home be compensated somehow?

My husband of 16 years is making me crazy with his selfishness and jealousy. He's jealous of every minute and every penny that I spend on our kids - which really isn't a lot. If I buy something for the kids, I have to buy something for him. the kids need braces, but he won't hear of spending that type of money on them. As far as college goes, he says the kids can take care of themselves. Anytime anything happens with me or the kids the focus turns to how this will affect HIM. I' m so sick and tired of hearing how he wants to get away from the kids - he keeps insisting that we need a vacation. The kids do all the chores and household cleaning and laundry. I pitch in when I can, but I think it's wrong to essentially use them as servants. I did all the chores when I was a kid, but I know that HE didn't. He's big (400 lbs+) and scarey and termpermental and seems to enjoy getting upset. We spend our lives trying to make sure that we don't provoke him. What can I do?
