My husband and I have been married for almost 11 years. We have been separated for a little more than a year now; we have not lived together or even talked about getting back together.. things were pretty bitter between us, but all has been calmed down for the last couple of months. I still love him very much. So, about a week ago, I wrote him an email asking him if he would consider coming back home. I wasn't even expecting him to admit he'd even read it, because he usually just ignores my emails, no matter what they are about. It took like 4 or 5 days, but I got a big shock Friday night when I found a reply from him waiting in my inbox! He didn't say yes.. but he didn't say no. He said he was thinking about it. He said there was a great deal of things to just forget about, and he really needed to think about it before he gave me an answer one way or another. I can hardly contain myself. I don't know what to say to him now, I'm trying very hard not to press the issue. More to be added

I accidently found out my husband is on match.com and adult singles.com seeking sex with singles, couples, and anyone.I checke his profile and he has been actively seeking sex for a long time. He writes that he is married and has no intention of leaving. I have intentions of him leaving, believe me. Gross. I have a part-time job and cannot support our mortgage/bills at his time but have applied and interviewed for several "real" jobs with good futures. In the meantime I am so freaking mad that I don't know if I can keep my mouth shut. I want to boot him like yesterday. What would YOU do?

Why is it now socially acceptable for a man to get a woman pregnant and not marry her? I mean..come on people. Our society needs more "my wife" or "my husband" not "my baby's momma" or "my baby's daddy". What are your opinions on this?

I have noticed that he always have the most important thing to say when I am in the shower. I am his wife so I know it is no surprise what he is going to see. So is it the sound of water that makes the light bulbs go off?

i am an attractive married woman. my husband makes me feel confident enough about that at home, but when we are around other of his peers (either women he grew up knowing in this town or guys) he acts all weird like trying to ,,, i don't know but it doesn't make me feel good. I didn't grow up here in this town with him it is very clique like. Is this just a guy thing? He for instance makes me feel like he will go to the rescue of some other female and expect me to find my own chair. does that make sense. what do you think.

I don't know if you, dear reader, have watched Cesar Millan the "Dog Whisperer" easily straightened wayward dogs, misbehaving dogs, aggressive dogs. I am sure that the same principles could be used to straighten relationships. All this talk of equality really brings on lots of uncertainty and unhappiness. Women don't understand that their elusive quest for "equality" means constant stress guarding its unavoidably blurred lines in domestic life. Measuring each and every activity and hoping not to be taken advantage of in the efforts to run a house it's not a happy way to live.
I think women need to accept leadership. Most women don't elect women to political life why would they want to elect themselves as de facto leaders and judges of what equality means in a relationship?

Married in Jesup, GA on 8-11-90, but the license was not filed. We separated on 3-22-02 w/o having any children together (Each of us had three by previous marriages). During the time we were together, we migrated between the Jesup area and Clark County, IN area. There were no pre-nuptual agreements. It's my understanding that neither GA nor IN recognize "common-law" marriages. So, under these circumstances, do I need to get divorced before I get remarried?

I have a 2 yr old daughter with my ex boyfriend. We never got married but we lived together for most of her life. He was in and out and has had trouble with finances and drugs. I wound up staying in the same house that we were renting together while I figured out what to do next. I've since married a long time friend who happens to be in the military. I know that there will be alot of moving involved in his career. I have moved out of state with my daughter with the father's permission, but he now is threatening to take me to court for custody of her. There has been no legal arrangement. Will the moving with my husband make me look like an unstable mother? Any help would be great. Thanks....

We've been married over 20 years and have kids that are almost grown. He never was much of a talker but things have gone from bad to worse lately. I have about all of the silence and ignoring that I can stomach now. I am about to give up on him. I have tried everything over the years and he just clams up, watches TV non stop or indulges himself in his hobby on his one day off a week. I am so frustrated, lonely and upset. But he won't budge. He gets better temporarily then goes right back to the same clamshell ways. Could he be going through male menopause? or be depressed or something? He says he loves me and wants to be married but his actions don't match his professions of love for me. If this is love then I might as well check out now. This is maddening and happens very often. I know I deserve better treatment. He seems unable to keep an emotional connection with me for more than a few days at a time before he reverts to ignoring and silence again. Is it a fear of intimacy?

My hubby had an affair over a year ago. He was away from home working after Katrina for 9 months. While he was away a woman pursued him and by her own admission knew he was married and still pursued him even after he said he was happily married. After some time he was out with some friends and had too much to drink and we were not getting along ( stress I suppose) and she went up to him at the bar and grabbed his shirt and told him he was coming home with her, she admitted that she had to "persaude" him. Well he told me everything and we have been to counseling etc. The thing is she claimed to have had an abortion for him and then claimed to be pregnant again but lost it. He swears she is delusional (she tried EVERYTHING) to break us up. She still says she was not lying and she has always claimed she had proof, I have asked her to send it always says she will but never does. Should I keep calling her bluff or jsut let it go? If she had something...why won't she send it?

Be honest now. When your lady was pregnant, did you find her sexy. And what was the sexiest thing about her. Especially when she was in her first trimester.

Ideally, I would have wanted a Christian marriage, but with the Church at 70% female and circumstances being what they are, basically the man in my life, who loves me deeply and wants to make “an honest woman” of me, is Bahai. I know quite a few Bahais but none in specifically mixed marriages with practising Christians. I'm worried at how this will impact our kids if we have any – he seems pretty adamant that the kids have to be Bahai. I'd especially like to hear from praticing Christian women married to Bahai men, and what their experiences were. We are both from western backgrounds.
