The one who has no respect for their spouse, their vows,
and their relationship, would be the one that would cheat.
Could be either the guy or the girl. It has to do with honor,
respect, integrity, honesty and dignity.

Without offending both side I will give my opinion as far as I can justify the action. I think it will be the men that will cheat first. Why? well some will say they are not satisfied from their spouse in bed, some will say that they're bored. Some were just doing it because it makes them more feel like a real man.And last but not the least, men who end up cheating gets more deeper because they become emotionally involve with the other woman...
For those women that end up in that situation, the only justify that they can give you is, their spouse do not pay attention to them, they feel lonely and empty because their spouse does not see how hard it is to be a woman that can and will do everything for their spouse. In short most women was taking advantage of the spouse.....

Many years ago since the beginning of time... man is more likely to cheat their spouse....
However since the evolution and globalisation... woman become more independent and has the ability and capacity to earn their keep.... This has change the whole land scape of it all...
So Woman starts to cheat even more than man nowadays...
Reason is that WOMAN are emotional creature and tends to sway their feelings and thought according to emotions that present atthat point in time. Woman acts out of anger, jealousy, get back at their spouse for one reason or another..and so on... just a bunch of emotional excuses..
Man on the other hand still remains the same since the begining of time.. or perhaps even more subdue as they are more civilised and educated and therefore the animal instinct that rules the household has change dramatically..
Having said that.... in REALITY is that both share the same TROPHY of cheating still...
Reason... it takes two hands to clap.. one has to be female and the other male....
Yes on some occassion that the ladies are single..
and in the same token some males are also single... so this equates out..
SO... after all MAN, WOMAN they all all human beings... a creature that god create to make mistakes.... and gain experience from our mistakes and thats why we evolved as compared to any other mamals....

Both are just as capable of cheating. Granted there's no excuse, but happy people typically don't cheat! Men often cheat because they meet a woman who's willing to give them the sex and attention they crave. Women tend to cheat because they meet a man who is willing to understand them, take care of them, and love them. Either way, people should think twice before they get married if the person they're with doesn't measure up. There would be a lot fewer broken homes and screwed up kids.

Actually, there was a study done on that and it found that women are more likely to cheat than men. I personnally find that hard to believe, I mean just read YA. How many people write in here "that my husband cheated"? Ya hardly ever see men writing that their wife cheated. Anyway, my personal opinion on that, is that cheating is not a gender based flaw, it is a character based flaw.

Both men and women cheat on each other, but personally i think men are more likely to cheat because some may feel pressured or just not happy at all. However i think women are more likely to divorce.

It's impossible to know who cheats more, but I would think it's about the same. Men and women cheat, but men get caught more because the women are smarter at covering up an affair.

I don't see the blame being put on either one or another, Both sexes are culprits. Depends on circumstances & of course of it's a happy union, there is NO reason for cheating period. If both are out in the working field & there is temptation, anything is possible. Again, if both are happy & satisfied, there should not be anything to worry about.

I would like to say a man, but I honestly think that women cheat more. Most husbands don't expect their wives to cheat so it gives them more of an opportunity not to get caught.

I have had more woman friends whose husbands have cheated than the other way around. My ex-husband was a cheat; I wasn't.
