Have you ever seen one? Do they exist??

He is consistently behind on support, continues to be verbally abususive as he was during the marriage, (why I divorced him. ) He may hate me forever, and, I know he loves the kids (not abusive to them, but in front of them, to me, sometimes.) Its a six hour drive where we are going, and I am willing to alter visitation to make up for the distance and time between visits. He is irregular with visitation, already, sometimes weeks without a call to the kids, but I still try to keep things going for the kids. I have a lawyer, but I am sill afraid. I have the right to go, but he also has the right to sue me to try and stop us. No family here and no regular support from him, so I want to make us a better life. I'm not going to Alaska!!! just three hrs each way... all for our future, not to hurt him. Help!

Assuming you are granted joint custody, I would like to know if there is any (legal) way to prevent your ex-wife from moving to the other side of the country with your child, making it impossible to see them regularly.

I want to do something really nice for my husbands birthday this weekend. His actual birthday was april 5 but I decided to wait until Saturday to celebrate. My husband is 36 and he is very intelligent and hard to shop for so I would like the guys to give me suggestions on what I can do to celebrate? Do guys like to see their women in Lingerie? I want to take him out to Dinner but I don't think that will be enough. He loves video games, basketball, hell he likes all sports but I wanted to do something sexy. Can you tell me what you would like your woman to do on your birthday, tell me what you think is sexy and what gift you would like to receive. Anything you can do to help me would be appreciated. I don't want to keep saying this but we may not be together for his birthday next year because he is going to Iraq in July 07 and he will be gone for at least 12 months and I want to make this one memorable. Thanks for your help

Do you just tolerate them to keep the peace? What is it about them that gets on your nerves? For example-maybe controlling, or nosey, or selfish or what?

I just found out that my 30 yr old husband has been keeping in contact with an ex girlfriend from high school. She is married as well, and they both swear they're "just friends", but he found it necessary to hide it from me. My insides are telling me there was something going on and it all just sounds fishy. I have no proof but point is he lied and I feel violated and angry and am ready to leave bc of this....any advice???

we've been divorced 3 years and I've asked him once, two years ago, and he said my belongings were not in the house. I'm pretty sure my belongings (my baby photos, videos) are still in the attic. I plan to bring my mom with me and ask him again in person, but maybe I need to take legal action?

maybe we should lease a mate with a 5 year option to renew or buy. Or maybe open marriages, but is that natural? or maybe the better looking people should marry less attractive people who will stay faithful to them and let them cheat? Or maybe it's a problem with Morals and values?

My husband has a female friend who he says is his best friend EVER. He and she both assure me that they are just friends.

She does not come inside our house but they take our kids for walks, to the park, to stores, etc. while I am at work. (We work opposite schedules so we do not have to put our children in daycare.) We have two kids and she has one.

I told my husband that I was jealous of the time that they spend together because she sees him more than I do! He took it the wrong way and only heard the word "Jealous" and now this HUGE argument has started between the three of us.

They both say that they are exactaly alike and that they have never found anyone else in the world that is like them. This makes me angry!

He says that I am being ridiculous and it is not fair that he should have to sacrifice the best friend he has ever had.

We only meet this girl four months ago...

What do I do? How do I change my feelings and be okay with their "relationship"?

My mother in law and I have had problems for years. We have just had our first child and she is driving me mad. We went there yesterday for lunch and when he cried she wouldnt let me have him back, even to feed (she told me to just express and she would do it!) she is insisting that when he is old enough to talk he call her mama, and keeps telling me that I am doing everything wrong (she says breast feeding is bad, picking him up when he cries is bad etc) I feel almost like she is trying to push me out of the picture and I dont like that, its going to sound stupid, but I definitely dont want the baby calling her mama. She is an alcoholic and I really dont want her near him, but thats not really an option. How do I get her to back off and let me be a mother?

Yeah, of course I love him. But there are two issues that drive me insane.
a.) He always tunes me out. I will just be talking to him about stuff. Not nagging him to do anything. Just talking to him. Yet when I get done, he says "say that again!" He never seems to hear me. And I don't like repeating myself over and over. I feel disrespected.
B.) He thinks he knows EVERYTHING. He says it all the time. I feel like his child in the way that he treats me alot of the time.
:(
So has anyone felt this way before? What do I do to change things. We have been married 5 yrs, and together 7. (2 kids)

I know this is an old issue but I believe we underestimate the damage politicians do with badly thought out legislation especially when it comes to income, taxation, and poverty.
They certainly don't help.

Before I met my wife I dated a girl for around 3 ½ years (lived with her for 1 ½, it was a college relationship). We split somewhat amicably, and I focused on work, friends and hobbies for a few months.

After around 6 months I met my wife, dated her for a year, and we’ve been married another 2 years since. We have a pretty great relationship (although she is the jealous type) and we are financially stable. We also have a 3mo old son.

When I first met her I wasn’t completely honest about how long I had dated the last girl, and I didn’t tell her how long I had lived with her. At the time I thought it was the right thing to do, as she had never dated anyone long term before and is from a conservative family so I thought she’d prejudge me.

I was also pretty insensitive and left a few belongings of my x around the house (such as a piece of furniture, and a few pictures), and from time to time would bring up stories from that era related to trips I took or experiences I had.

My ex wife (mother of 2 kids) asked me to loan her some money. Her husband got laid off and she said they were going to have trouble making ends meet this month. On one hand, we're divorced and I don't see why i should bail her out. But on the other, she is the mother of my kids and if she can't pay the bills, my kids suffer. Should i loan her the money?

It was love at first sight but it was still a rocky start. We met at work and started dating but it wasn't long before she suspected me of cheating. I didn't even know she thought that until later on. All I knew is that she was ignoring me and started sleeping around. It was months later I learned she thought I cheated on her so I talked to her about it and cleared it all up. I didn't like that she started acting slutty but I overlooked that because I wanted to be with her. Things got much better and we've been engaged for a while now.

The red flag is that she is suspecting me of cheating again. There are some flirtatious girls at work and she's jumping to the conclusion that I'm cheating...but I'm not cheating. Is she looking for excuses to be promiscuous? I can't go through all of that again.

Should I cancel the wedding?

OR

Is there a way to test her?
Should I lead her to believe I am cheating and see what she does?
