I have an amazing fiance, and I know he will be a great husband. I think it is important to really know what you want and to also be ready to give and not just worry about receiving. Really the way to get a good husband is by focusing more on how you can be a good wife. I honestly think they go hand in hand.

You learn how to be a good wife...then you'll attract a man that will be a good husband. You should know what being a good woman is about and I hope you know how to recognize a good man.

A good person does not play games with other peoples' emotions and they are attentive to the wants and needs of each other. They are trustworthy, respectful of each other, expressive with interest for each other and they maintain individuality. They're mature in handling issues and are able to talk and work through problems...which every relationship will have. They don't call each other names when arguing...this falls under the respecting each other category. They are committed to each other and love each other. They like each others' company and want to be together. These are only a few of the things that make a good couple. You get the idea.

The best thing I can say is be patient. Do not get in a hurry to get married. Make sure that you date and test the water before jumping in. I have been married almost 11 years and before I met my husband I dated and had a few that were very serious~~~that I thought maybe but patience paid off in the end. When you find the person you are meant to be with you'll know it.

You know I dated lots of guys through university, and after while I was working, then I was back at university again. A few seriously. However, there was something missing...
Then I got hit over the head with a huge hammer one day when I saw my husband sitting in the congregation of our church -- I was in the choir loft. We were married 3 years later (I stupidly spent a year still dating a dude I was seeing), and have been for almost 18 years.
Church, what a concept! He had very good character, came from a good family, had wonderful values, loved children and animals, very intelligent, sharp sense of humor, kind and gentle, (heavily muscled from hard physical labour, too) - quite a man. And I found him at CHURCH!

- stop looking, you probably ran into him but your so busy looking for a specific type you never knew he was there in the first place.
- when a man comes along ask him to state his business, if it not merging with your agenda.....give him his walking papers
-ooh and dont believe that saying (no such thing as a good man) we tend to linger on a deluted fantasy on what we think is the perfect man negating what a good man is
There is no qualify components to get a good husband, but merely the stance of compromise on both ends

Well to get a good husband you need to become a good wife also. You and him need to always be communicating what you and him liek about each other. But communication is the key. But make sure he can cook too.

It's the luck of the draw, because you'll never know if he will be a good husband until after the first year....sorry!

Well, to reel in a redneck husband all you have to do is throw out your fishing pole. For bait, use a porn movie, a beer, and a TV remote.

For a good husband????? I don't know. That's why I stick with cats.

I wasn't that hard to get. My wife was young, sexy, thin and exotic. If you're all of these then you'll have no trouble.
