true.
no more swinging, no more menages, no more booty calls, no more orgies.
hello little brats, hello in-laws from hell.
good bye money, good bye freedom, good bye life.
welcome death.

That statement is so False. Marriage is not the death of all hope and excitement. Married people still have fun and enjoy life. If you love the person that you are married to and that person is your best friend( because that person is suppose to be you r best friend) life with that person could never be dead. Yeah marriages do have their ups and downs. But that is nothing different from a regular relationship with a boy or girlfriend. But nothing dies and the hope does not leave when you get married. It just gets better. And the death of all hope and excitements does not leave until you are six feet under.

False! Marriage is a bond that you have entered in upon with the person that you love for as long as you can. Not saying that a marriage is not going to ever fail, but in reality if you got married to someone that you truly love the hope that you have to make it work never dies. And depending on what excites you, be it in the bed or any where else for that matter just keep it up.

FALSE!!!!!!! Been married for 32 years. Should not be one sided, but should comprise and keep the line of communication open. Death and no hope for excitement is only when you allow it to become that way. People who been married for a long time still have an exciting life

Marriage is the beginning of hope and excitement. Hope for the gift of family and children. Excitement for a new role as husband and wife and later as parents, grandparents, etc.

marriage is not the death of anything...
people choose whom they marry, the hope lies within what you make of your marriage, as a couple...the excitement IS the journey to fulfilling that hope.
unfortunately, most people in today's society get married with the underlying factor that they can always get a divorce if things don't work out.
just because a couple develop a bad relationship within their marriage does not mean that the marriage, itself is dead...there are counselors for that purpose. however, if a couple get married because they are excited about spending the rest of their lives together then any badness in the relationship can be mended by rejuvenating that hope.

Unless you're in the movies, probably true. I'd assume the excitement fades after about 50+ years.. I'm not sure if hope fades, it's moreso just acceptance that this is the best person out there for you, I guess. It's not the end of all joy though.

i would say false but it does depend on 1) how you look at marriage, and 2) how much you love this person. you see if you are happy with someone, then being married should not kill any excitement. this is why it is sometimes a little better not to get married too young

FALSE, not if you marry the right person, it is fantastic. It gives you hope and excitement every day. You sound like a real pessimist. Marriage is two people sharing their lives, always having someone there for you when you need them, loving someone is he greatest gift we have.
