People say that "perfect marriage" is when one partner "is in love" and other "allowes to be loved". What do you think about this theory, is that true?

I have been talking to this man, Joe online for quite awhile and found out that we have a lot in common. We finally met and he is a perfect gentleman. He is not expecting sex. We just talked and held eachother for hours. I have strong feelings for him and I know he has strong feelings for me. It's hard to describe the feelings that I get when I talk to him or see him. I'm all smiles and when I am with him it just seems like everything is just like it should be. The problem is I'm married and he knows that. He's asked me before if I plan to leave my husband eventually and what will happen when and if we fall in love. I just seem to be living in the moment. It's just everything seems so right with this guy. I get the warm fuzzy feeling when I am with him. I do love my husband (he's my best friend) but, I haven't felt like that with him for quite awhile(b4 Joe). I am so scared to leave my husband because I love his family and my family loves him but, I think I might be falling for Joe.

thank for your answers, I have tried everything, but my wife wants to act like nothing has happened. She tries to show me that she cares, but it all seems so superfical. That depth we once shared is gone, Talking would make all the difference in the world, but she shuts me out every time. I know I should probably move on, because I need to hear and be shown those 3 little words, I love you.

I mean, phsically, I know you can, it's possible. But legally can one be raped by a husband? Because a friend of mine had this happen to her, and the police said there was nothing her could do because he was her husband? Does this make any sense? What can i do to help her, if anything?

Say the girl is living in an urban area in India - but not a metropolis. She is estranged from her family and circumstances made her move in with a man who got her pregnant. He has no intention of marrying her. What must she do?

My wife has not said I love you in over a year. After breaking my heart, hers was broken over a internet love affair. She says she is sorry and is trying to make our marriage work, but we don't talk & she will not say I love you to me. It also not in her eyes the way it use to be. With out those 3 little words, i don't think we will make it. I still need to know why the was willing to throw a good thirty year marriage away for somebody on the net. If her heart was broken as bad as mine than she is probably still hurting like me.What should I do?

What do you do when you've been pretending for years that you have feelings for someone but really don't? How do you break such devastating news to that person? Or, maybe it's best to just go on living the lie you've been living and not create a firestorm among your family and hers.

I am 21 and he is 25 we have been together 2 years. We have been living together for almost 1 year now. When I ask him about marriage he says I'm not interested in getting married for years. Which is ok with me because I don't mind waiting at least a year or two, but I don't know if it's me he wants to marry in a few years. He always beats around the bush and jokes about it when I bring up the conversation. So then I told him.."I want to get married and you don't so you are wasting my time, I think we should break up" And I ask him do you think we should break up or stay together and he says " I think we should stay together" But everyone is telling me that by 2 years of being together he would know if he wants to marry me or not. I don't want to waste my young years on him if we are not going to get married. Why doesn't he tell me straight out yes or no? By 2 years does a guy know for sure?

This question is for my friend whose husband left her for his assistant. A woman who knew from day one he was married and whose husband dumped her and got custody of the kids. She also slept with another married coworker
but his wife threatened her which my friend would never do. They have 5 children and a fairly good marriage until Ms. Homewrecker came on like a cat in heat and her very naive simple husband didn't stand a chance.
BTW, we know the best revenge is living well which
she plans to do next month. This month she wants to
kick ***.

I'm a 22 year old Iraqi lady, I met a man who I care for greatly.....He is 40.
He's also in the military, he told me that in january 2007, he will be going to the middle east....
We haven't known each other for very long, but we both really have strong feelings for each other,
he says that he loves me, and recently he's been talking about marriage, making little hints about us getting married.
I'm almost certain that he's going to propose before he heads off to afghanistan.

I'm not sure what to do, my mind tells me what im doing is wrong...There's too many differences in our cultures,
and in our beliefs, but at the same time my heart is saying that i love this man.

He's assured me that he doesn't care about differences, he just wants to spend the rest of his life with me.

Everyone around thinks im crazy. Is it wrong for us to be together? Will it be too difficult? If he going to get grief from people in the military because im an Iraqi? (but born in the states)
