Do women want there sons to be treated like there ex spouses when they grow up 25 years from now ?

Your son pays his child support and is diligent in paying it .
Yet society criticizes him at every turn .

I was one of those late bloomers. Clumsy, zits, no athletic ability. I've had less girlfriends than I can count on one hand. One of those girlfriends who I met when I was 17, I ended up marrying. Today, though, I am not the same person. After braces, some corrective jaw surgery, an MBA, an understanding of nutrition, and an intense 5-day a week workout schedule, I'm what you might call a good catch. I'm not that shy teenager anymore. And I've learned to actually look at women and notice - some pretty attractive ones are checking me out.

The problem is that I love my wife - truly and deeply but flirting around is such a testosterone buzz!!! I asked this question earlier:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am8hwmUFhy0diwdowZ64wNHsy6IX?qid=20061115170722AAzBXyr

and the consensus is I haven't cheated on my wife. Is there a happy medium? Can I still somehow experience the single man life (and boost my self esteem) or does marriage have to = testosterone death?

I went to find her well I found her, with a friend of the family. She wouldn't talk to me.
A couple a of days passed and she tells
me that I didn't respect her and I didn't treat her like an adult. And that I was to controlling. Everything was fine till 6 days ago she said nothing was planned. Looking back on events I was. I admit to my mistakes can I get her to forgive me?? And get the love of my life back.

In a nutshell here's the deal:
My husband's brother's birthday party was a few weeks ago, at a local karaoke bar. While we were at the party my brother in law's ex-girlfriend called me and asked if it would be okay if she stopped by the party to say hi.
I said "Well, I guess so. Let me make sure it's okay" I told my husband she wanted to come by, so he asked his brother's wife if it was okay with her. She said "Yeah, sure." So I told her to come on by.
She stopped by and everybody had a good time.
Now I'm "The Devil" for "inviting" his ex girlfriend to the party. His wife seems to have forgotten that she said it would be okay. We gave her an opportunity to say no and she said yes. She's even convinced herself that the ex-girlfriend gave her husband a lap dance!!! She's insane! The ex-girl sat next to my husband's mother the whole night, so nothing scandalous happened!
Now my sister in law is expecting me to kiss her feet with an apology, and I'm refusing to.
Who'se right here?

I have a husband that won't even say "happy birthday" or "happy anniversary." I don't get any kind of acknowledgment for these days at all. Same for Valentine's day. Nothing. I don't complain about it to him, but sometimes I want to feel special, like I mean something to him. Most of the time I don't feel special at all.

Now I've stopped doing anything for his birthday as well.

Is this normal man behavior? Men's perspective very much appreciated.

Thank you!

It sounds strange, but I just helped someone with a refinance, who gave up hope, and planned to give up her house due to her divorce. She had bad credit and thought It could never happen. I was so excited to make it happen for her. I not only did my job, but helped a human being. I want to find more people who need help with refinance and are in need. It was a nice feeling. So, why do I care? I'm going through a divorce too, so I knew exactly how she was feeling. Thoughts?

My fiance is no good, selfish, and offer no moral, emotional, or financial support for me. I am thinking it would be best to have an abortion so that I don't have to deal with this man anymore and bear the immense burden of raising a child with a dead-beat father.

Since california does not recognise common law marriage, if I went with her to a state for a few days which recongises it and signed an affidavit of support would that be applicable for us. I am trying to know this because we can be eligible to tax benefits which helps us as we live together.

would single mothers get more child support if society used more carrots and perks rather than the kick em while there down approach for non custodial fathers ?

Took in to account that non custodial fathers can lose there jobs , get sick get disabled .

Take into account Some times noncustodial fathers need to get a pay cut to get to a job that will ultimatley pay them more than what they earn at there present job ?

Take into account being a noncustodial father can feel pretty bleak .

The day I was dreading finally arrived - I had to look at my son and tell him it was okay to like Dad's new girlfriend and that I was okay with it. My ex and this woman had absolutely no respect for me, our wedding vows and my family. But I guess that is what being a mother is all about - putting your child's happiness first. But how do I get rid of this sick feeling? Will this nightmare end?

I am married and right now I don't feel settled in my life.

Both my husband and I work very hard and we are living with his family until we relocate.

I feel like a fish out of water because I don't have my own place, I LOVE to entertain and cook and practice hospitality.

My husband does try his best but I have to work in order for us to eat and it takes two income not out of lavishness and extravagance but out of pure neccessity.

January we relocate, what is the best way to make the best of feeling uprooted? I don't feel safe and secure and I have been irritable lately.

I know the marraige vows say for better for worse for richer and poorer in sickness and in health, but sometimes
it is really hard.

I love him completely, we have known each other since May 2003. His ex really f'''d up his life. We had a really good start to our relationship, I then became ill and he resigned from his business partnership... I am now in a good job and have bought my own place, he is now on the up in his consultancy... I want to have a warm and physical, relationship, but he has become scared of anything physical. He hates me being let down by this and has opened up on occasion. He seems to get his happines from committing to his new business enterprise, his winter activities and his girls, who I have to agree, are the best! He says I deserve better... I say WE deserve better. I understand the need for friendship, but for soo long I thought we had more, and physically for a while we did. I noticed when I used his computer the other day his history had over 300 hits to specific sites, this has left me feeling low in self confidence... He good at putting his head in the sand.. What do I do???

I am repeating because some people didn't get the questions. This is not about reconciling. This is about whether to FILE now or not.
Everyone I talk with about this has an agenda so I am asking complete strangers for neutral thoughts on this issue. Wow!
Should I file for divorce or are the benefits worth it?
If I file, I lose all health insurance, life insurance and pension rights if something happens to him. He is now paying the mortgage (almost $2000) and all of the tuition for the two kids ($1800) without an argument. He left me and is involved with another woman so it feels that by not filing I am saying that it is OK. My son has cerebral palsy. One marriage is enough so I am not looking to marry again. Any thoughts?

I would like to hear from people with experience. Thanks
