Marriage & Divorce - 16 October 2006

(I'm a young adult that's never been married so i have an honest question about marriage) Ladies, lets say that your dating your man, you look and dress nice and he's wowed by your attractiveness and personality. Then you get married. Does your husband not notice you as much anymore because he's so used to your personality and looks over time?

This is something that worries me about marriage. Has this happened to you?

women, do u think there is anything wrong with a man who wants to hear his g/f voice several times a day on the phone. I drive a truck and that is the only contact that i have with her for upto 3 weeks at a time. I call every morning, leave a good morning/ i love u message on her phone at work, but she does not have enough decentcy or caring to do the same for me. I now that this is petty but i would be nice if she would. i have asked her to call me first thing in the morning and just before she goes to bed so i can say goodnite to her and this pissed her off. Is this such a big thing to ask and i though that this is what women wanted, a mare who cared. any thoughts

A friend of mine is one of the best fathers i have had the chance to witness... this last feb. his wife decided to leave him for another man... this was her second marriage, in her first marriage she had 3 kids and basically let her ex have full custody of them.. now this time (with my friend) she has had two more kids... she cheated on him and left him...the kids (2 and 3) dont like going to their mothers and the daycare sees this.. she has left them alone with a 12 yr. old for a whole weekend before even... well he wants full custody of his kids and he has no clue if that is even possible... can anyone give me some info to pass on to him????... thank you!

The ex wife is stating that she "lost" 3 months of child support and is now asking for more money. I do not know what to do and have had it w/ her lying. She's bad mouthed me to her family and now my fiancee's family as well. This is a total nightmare and I'm considering leaving my fiancee because of this constant problem with her, so any advice would greatly be appreciated. Even her own brother says she's mean and she'll always be like this, not to mention that my fiancee, her ex-husband, is her brothers best friend...so it gets even more complicated. Oh and by the way, my fiancee is over in Kuwait and won't be home until the middle of December. Please help..................

All I keep hearing is "Get a lawyer." But I can't afford one! I've known this guy for 10 years. We dated for 4 years, and I got back with him on a rebound from a 3 year relationship. We were together for four days and then got married, because he insisted. And my stupid @ss went right along with it. It's been 2 months, and we've been separated for one a couple of weeks. My wife and I have been seperated for two months.Things were starting to work out and all of a sudden she did a 360. She is not wanting to talk to me and does not return my calls.Is she trying to teach me a lesson? In this case in Georgia, what happens to debt amassed from an individual (not in joint name) when the individual can't/won't pay? On other words, can the Creditor go after the other spouse after the divorce?

I am ending my second marriage and I truly do not want to get married again, nor am I interested in any kind of "boy friend"... I don't want to date, or even find someone. And this is not like me... Dear friends,
I got married last month in another country and returned to my place now. It's an arrange marriage and i never know this guy before i marry. I met him once before my marriage and i figured out he was not my dream guy. I refused this marriage but my family forced me to marry this guy. Also, the guy family doesnt want to stop the marriage because they have invited everyone for the wedding. Finally, i had no choice & forced by them to marry this guy. After, marriage i tried to live happy life with him. But...the problem started. Each night, When he touched me i didnt feel anything. During that one month, i never enjoyed any sex and i am still virgin. He is a very nice guy and he said it will take time. In my side, i am very scared of my life. I feel like i lost my life somewhere. In my culture its not easy to divorce someone or living alone. Does anyone experienced this kind of life after marriage? Does he have any problem or me?

we have 4 kids ranging in age from 20 to 10.........anyway they witness him with this girl he left me for.....which bothers me to no end......how can he think its ok.......he hasnt talked to them about anything and it doesnt seem to bother him that he is no longer in their lives on an every day basis...plus he never asks about me nor talks about me and when he does talk to me he is usually very nasty....why he did this not me..........

My husband has never asked me to do such a thing, but honestly, I cant help but wonder sometimes. I know it would make him unbelievably hot to witness me with another woman, and I think it might actually be fun for me too. I mean, the only man I have and ever will be with is my husband. I am fortunate to have 3 men wanting to marry me. Here is my story:
I m 40 years old-full figure-no children-not much money-divorced woman.
I have 3 great guys..this is their story:
Man 1-tall, handsome,well settled in life, sweet & good to me. We make good looking couple together.He wants lots of kids w/ me!! BUT he dumped me 2 months ago unmercifully...then called again & has more than made up for his bad behaviour by treating me like a queen! I m very happy w/him
Man 2-cute, but very short, we get along like brother & sister..he is willing to relocate his life to live in my town..BUT he does not want children {sz we r too old!} He does not have career has to return to school etc..
Man 3- wants marriage, he is very short, he is richer than the others, very sweet, devoted to me, already lives in my town.

The wife now wants an abortion, but the husband still wants to have the baby. Husband could think perhaps her hormones are playing with her mind? He thinks she could change her mind again once its all over and the scary labor is over. Or, what if she truly doesn't want the child, the husband is thinking about getting a divorce and having permanent custody over the child.
