that is a very good question. I think tha tsome people are in love with the idea of marriage, and some people marry because circumstances tell them it is the "right" thing to do. You can marry for love, but that is no guarantee that your relationship will last any length of time...
...and remember, not all people want to get married even if they want a committed relationship.... So again, great question, I expect you will have some very interesting answers!

Because society tells us the only way to be happy is to be married. The only true happiness in life is to commit yourself to someone, give birth to children, and life will be truly wonderful. Please people, wake up! Divorce is expensive, and you don't have to be someone's "other half" to acheive happiness. Look at the stats. Half of marriages end in divorce. If you choose to get married, whenever that may be (if ever), it should be because you love that person, and want to be with that person.
