The wife now wants an abortion, but the husband still wants to have the baby. Husband could think perhaps her hormones are playing with her mind? He thinks she could change her mind again once its all over and the scary labor is over. Or, what if she truly doesn't want the child, the husband is thinking about getting a divorce and having permanent custody over the child. What laws do YOU think should be in place for this kind of circumstance?

I think that if the pregnancy was planned, then it should happen. I think that she is afraid of the labor of having the baby.

First off, it's too late for an abortion so that is not an option. The wife is probably stressed over the labor and delivery and other things going on in her life. This is a VERY stressful time for a woman. The husband needs to analyze what's going on in their relationship, in his wife's life and try to take some of that stress off of her. Wait until after the baby is born before making any decisions regarding a separation. Her feelings may change rather quickly.

She is just scared. Take her to the doctor and discuss it so it doesn't get out of hand.

I think you will find she is too far along for an abortion anyway, if shes into her second trimester, they wont do it.

But it sounds like she is well on the way for some pre baby counseling...just be supportive, hormones are raging while a women is pregnant.

touchy subject, but i believe since the baby is in the thrid trimester that an abortion can't and shouldn't be allowed. For one the baby can survie past 32 weeks which if i remember right is the begining of the 3rd trimester. So that would be murder only because the child can survive w/o the mother.
The law really gives husband/men no right really, even though its his kid. She gose though the labor then he has rights, just as much as she dose.

I think that if they both decided to get prego and she does..and then she changes her mind after its done and he STILL wants it and decides to get A divorce then he should get the baby and raise it and the law should step in and make her pay child support and also the law should step in when it comes to the abortion as well...she planned the pregnancy and she wanted it so its tough luck for her..As long as the father want to raise it then the law should be on his side.

I'm sure you are going to get a lot of level headed responses to this question. But I doubt that is what you are looking for.

In answer to your question, why does everyone need a law governing their lives because one man married badly? This has nothing to do with me, but that guy is up the creek. Why do we feel that we have to force our opinions on others lives.

Whether I am Pro-life or Pro-choice is immaterial. I also dont care which you are. But I wont try to force my ideals on you and would appreciate the same.

I think Pro-life people shouldnt have abortions, and Pro-choice people should make the choice they feel is right for them. I hope you can see where this is going...

It's a little too late now. Hormones, definitely hormones! This is a huge change in life about to happen and being scared and having second thoughts is normal.

Man that child is not only hers but as much as yours. It's one thing if u were young and dating but i have never heard of a married couple contemplating abortion. if it was me and she went ahead and aborted it, i would honestly probably divorce her and honestly i hate to say it but i would lose and do something crazy not worth typing on yahoo.

I am pretty sure that she is too far along to carry the baby. Sorry for her, but this is way too late. She needs to have the baby. It is not her decision alone.

there does need to be some type of law about this.

She wants to murder a planned baby. Get her to a psychiatrist and a regular physician. Somethings WRONG with her. Seriously.
