The ex wife is stating that she "lost" 3 months of child support and is now asking for more money. I do not know what to do and have had it w/ her lying. She's bad mouthed me to her family and now my fiancee's family as well. This is a total nightmare and I'm considering leaving my fiancee because of this constant problem with her, so any advice would greatly be appreciated. Even her own brother says she's mean and she'll always be like this, not to mention that my fiancee, her ex-husband, is her brothers best friend...so it gets even more complicated. Oh and by the way, my fiancee is over in Kuwait and won't be home until the middle of December. Please help..................

I've actually thought about buying the movie "Stepmom" and sending it to her....in fact after you get a divorce and have children every Woman in America should receive a copy of it!!!! It should be mandatory!!!

if he's in the military, she should be receiving child support straight from his paycheck in the form of an allotment. unless she's changed banking accounts, there is no way to "lose" money. she's probably trying to squeeze more money out of him since she knows that deployed soldiers receive more entitlements while they are gone. she sounds like a total nightmare. i would discuss the situation with your husband, find out how she is being paid and look for past LES's, or checks if that's how she is being paid, looking at your bank statements. good luck.

If he's in Kuwait and he's the father of her children and you are the fiance why are you in the middle? If he has proof of already paying this child support why has this been allowed to escalate?
I mean if she's "lost" the money how does that become your problem? She will just have to wait for him to get back in December and take those "lost" 3 mos to court and see what a judge says about it. Don't be the mediator.

Who is she getting the money from is she asking you for it? Don't leave him that is what she wants, she is jealous that he found someone else. If you love him then you need to stay with him and not let her push you out of the picture. She has to bad mouth you to make her self feel better. His family will see how you are and make there own judgments, and I am pretty sure they no how she really is. Just hang in there. If she bothers you for child support tell her that that is not up to you

to begin with ,,she has no right coming to you for the child support,,it has nothing to do with you,,if you give in to her then she will always bother you,,,tell her she is just going to have to wait until your fiancee gets back,,,be firm and consistant,,,and don't let her push you into leaving him,,that is probably just want she wants

Put as much distance as you can between you and her. Don't argue with her. Get a restraining order to keep her away from you if necessary.

Don't let her problems be yours. If she is coming to you for money then tell her it is not your problem.

Let her take it up in court.

tell her to bark up another tree. if the money comes out of his check automatically there is a paper trail... if you are supposed to send it to her check your bank records...other than that she's done...
