All I keep hearing is "Get a lawyer." But I can't afford one! I've known this guy for 10 years. We dated for 4 years, and I got back with him on a rebound from a 3 year relationship. We were together for four days and then got married, because he insisted. And my stupid @ss went right along with it. It's been 2 months, and we've been separated for one a couple of weeks. How do I get out of this marriage????

Go too closest Court and get the forms for divorce is the cheapest possible way to do. You just pay the regular fees. Nobody can beat the price - this is minimum to pay and easy to do.

Paralegal Services are much cheaper than a Lawyer. Or you can you use Legal Documentation Services. Since you have no children or property I assume, Just file no fault. Have your husband sign it and your done. You can even go to the court house and fill out the paper work yourself. An Annulment cost thousands of dollars. That is because it clears you from ever being married.

It depends on what state you are in. Many divorces can be handled by yourselves without a lawyer, assuming both parties are in agreement. The county clerk should be able to advise you what paperwork you need to file and how to go about it. There are even online legal resources that will cost far less than a lawyer. Maybe check with a local women's center, if there is one. If you do consult a lawyer, get recommendations first and know the fees before you take him or her on.

There are a couple of web sites that help and kind of walk you through the paper work to do it yourself, becuase my friend done it that way I think she just had to have it noterized by a judge and you have my sympathy for your troubles (not pity-pity is for the weak and you sound strong for wanting to resolve this problem) just write me on my email so I can get you that web site from my friend

There's a way, but it's not easy and it's pretty much what everyone's told you to do- get a lawyer or court moderator.
