Before my relationship with my boyfriend ,I was married for 10 years, and it ended badly. I was completely blindsided by my ex husband who cheated on me with a 21 y/o (I was 30) left me for her and recently married her. Now I have a hard time letting myself trust my boyfriend completely, its like I am refusing to be set up for another fall. He feels as though he is being punished for what my ex did, and he's right. Any advice on how to let go and learn to trust again? Instead of really enjoying what I have now, I'm waiting for the end.

me and my boyfriend have been going out for almost 2 yrs we had a child right away but he wasnt planned we never really got to date i got pregnant the 2nd time we had sex! anyways i want him to marry me so our lives will be complete but he wont because he says its to soon should i just ask him or wait until hes ready which is another 4 or 5 yrs!

I've already posted my problem. now let me make it more clear.I was in love with this girl for more than 1.5 years. We used talk lot n lot. We met in chat. Became friends. then lovers. She is located in a different state. Everything was fine. Suddenly i felt a drastic change in her behavior. She started avoiding me. I thought it was because of some misunderstanding. Later only i understood that She fell in love with her ex for the second time. They were talking like husband and wife for 20days. Later she ditched him. She has made him believe that she's not in love and we were jus friends. after 20days God knows what made her avoid him totally.initially she was lieing to me that it was his mistake and she never loved him.only after one month only she accepted that she fell in love and it was just an infactuatoin. Now she says she needs me at any cost. at times she also blackmails me that she'll suicide. im ready to forgive but really cant forget those 20days. im confused......

Humble during the birth process or after when he gets to hold his new baby. And does it matter if is a boy or girl?? my husband seams to not care for me having a boy because he wanted a girl and i just found out i was having a boy yesterday. im jumping for joy but him sad with disapointment , why?

Our 15 year anniversary is coming up in 2007 and I'd love to renew our vows.
But our marriage is not on the rocks.
I've heard that people that renew their vows
are usually having marriage problems
(my bro-in-law & wife divorced 1 year after renewing their vows!)
We're very happy & I'm afraid everyone will worry that we want to
renew our vows because we're having marital
problems when that's not even the case.
The reason we want to is because our ceremony was in spanish
and we'd like to say our vows in english since it was a little more
"robotic" in spanish. My husband had a hard time speaking spanish then.
Should we or shouldn't we? My husband says No but not convincingly.
I think he really wants to but is afraid his mom will die of worry for us!
She's so dramatic like that!

We've never met, but I follow her around and try to smile when I catch her. Actually, once she dropped some papers, and I almost got there in time to help her out with them, but I was on the second story of a building watching her from a window, and couldn't make it down there in time.
I made sure that she doesn't have a boyfriend anymore.

What are my chances that she likes me?
I feel like I could marry her.

We have a beautiful child together. We both have been seeing other people, but I broke it off because I am still hung up on my husband. I know he loves me but he is unsure and doesnt think we can "go backwards". He also feels bad for the girl he is with because she is "in love" with him, although she knows he is still married. I am willing to do anything to make it work. I dont want to be mean or underhanded, although I am feeling the urge!! The girl is a tad bit afraid of me. ;)

I just want my family back. I am trying to convince him, but I dont want to force anything, I want it to happen naturally. Do I just wait it out alone?? I would love some advice, some I am actually asking for!!

When my husband came to me his parents in CHICAGO had no Idea he was comming to stay. After he called them and told them he wasn't going back, I noticed the way his parents treated me and talked to me. Now his mom has passed away and still his dad calls me and tells me bad things. I feel like I'll never get along with those people even though I want to. My husband refuses to defend me when it comes to them being mean to me..and I've spoken to him about it several times. He's not a horrible husband he just has his flaws like everyone else. What should I do about this specific issue!?

I have been with my girl for some time now and we have already talked about marriage. We are not stupid young kids in a hurry or anything, this is just a serious question:

I want to ask her to marry me, but i am debating on asking for her parents consent first. Her dad likes me but her mother does not. So im afraid if i do ask they'll say no, cause the mom wears the pants in the family. But either way I'll still ask her, just wanted to know what u ppl think.

My boyfriend use to spend all of his free time with me. Now he never spends time with me. We live together... So, he just comes home, goes to sleep, goes to school, and then chill with his friends. I asked him to spend more time with me and he keeps saying he will but he doesnt. Hes never home. Im always at home by myself. I feel like we are growing apart because he is not making time for me. Lying and/or withholding information - how does one regain the trust that has been built over years and destroyed so quickly once the truth is free?

Mind you, it's not earthshattering, the truths, but it's the fact that it's been lied about or withheld that hurt the people I love.

Ok, so here is the low down. I have been with my b/f 10 months and I brought the subject of marriage up, b/c he had said something about it, and I thought well let me ask to see whats up. We have talk extremely breifly about it b4. So I said that I believe if your with somebody and you love them, you just know, u know? I said: well say we have been together 2 yrs (a year and a half long distance and 6 months living together), then you should know by then if you wanna be with that person or not. And let me just say, I have already lived with him 3 -4 months over the summer. If its meant to be, its meant to be.right? He totally disagreed, he was saying well I was thinking more like being with someone 3 yrs! Now, for some people it great for them, but not for me, I made it clear form the beggining that if he drags me on for more then 2 yrs, i'm prob. gonna leave. I believe that he should know a little by now. So I was seeing what you all thought about this. My family agrees, do you guys?
