I think the other person is right. to make you jealous. Sounds like a lot of insecurity to me. Another less obvious reason is maybe she is interested in being hit on and it makes her feel better about herself...
Have you asked your wife why she keeps telling you about these instances? I would be interested in knowing why she feels she needs to tell you this all time.

She is doing this to make you jealous; somewhere down the line something has made her feel insecure, less attractive! Try telling her how she makes you feel, how beautiful you still think she is, and how happy she makes you as well! Evidently, she's not getting much needed attention from you to keep her feeling like that woman you fell in love with before! Good Luck and God Bless!

I always tell my husband when other guys hit on me. The reason I do that it's because I sometimes feel that my husband doesn't think I'm beautiful anymore. He doesn't compliment me like he us to or pay me much attention. I get upset and hurt when I'm ignored by my husband, so I feel the need to let him know that others out there do find me attractive.

She wants to make you jelouse and see your reaction. She wants you to see that other men find her desirable. I would not give her the safisfaction if I were you by getting mad. That is exactly what she wants you to do. Just give her an answer when she tells you these things like good for you and switch the subject act as though it does not bother you.

she has a poor self image it makes her feel good .....or maybe you don't telling her nice things often enough so she's getting those compliments else where. I have a friend who always tells her hubby about men at work flirting with her she is just a very insecure person you CAN tell it makes her feel good to talk about other men flirting with her. I don't think she would ever cheat but this is dangerous GROUND.

Trying to get more attention from you!She may be insecure with your relationship and you don't even notice coz you love her!Give her some extra attention and spoiling with a picnic and romantic evening and see if that let's up on her telling you this stuff!

somethings missing in her life and she's trying to get your attention.
you two really need to have a totally honest conversation and discuss this. you need to tell her that this behaviour annoys you and why. she needs to explain what she hopes to gain out of telling you about this and also if she's doing anything to encourage these men in the first place.
it's signs like this that mean problems, so best to get to the reason now and solve it before it's too late.
honesty, the absolute best policy.

She wants attention and that's her immaturely way to get it. Talk to her and make sure she understands you carefully and correctly that anything can and could be discussed. Make her feel comfortable with every needs may it be physical, mental, emotion, moral and financial.
Have an open communications.

Do you tell her you think she is beautiful? Do you pay attention to her? Sounds like you don't and she's trying to show you that other men DO find her attractive. Take her out to a nice dinner and pamper her. I bet she stops. Show her some LOVE.

well in my case I don't need to tell my husband that guys are hitting on me , my husband See's it for himself and when it happens my husband feels even luckier for having picked me and that what he has no other man shall ever have so there isn't a point of being jealous
