It can be whatever you want it to be. Mine has 7 diamonds total. And a friend has a engagement ring that has 11 or 12 diamonds in it.

yes it most definitely can be. Typically the three stone ring stands for past, present and future and I personally love this style. It represents all aspects of life and would be a great engagement ring. An engagement ring isn't just your typical solitare anymore, it can be any stone imaginable, not just diamonds even. It is a true symbol of love and can be any size or shape.

If you want a three stone diamond ring for an engagement ring-have at it. I have friends who wanted rubies! and got them!

Yes it is............I notice that your the female, so you must be the recipiant of the ring. Don't get caught up in thinking that you have to have some huge rock given to you that says "be mine". The ring is just a token gesture of the pending marriage. One diamone, big or small, One emerald big or small or twenty diamonds in a cluster ring........they can all be engagement rings..........but it's the love and what's behind the giving that counts. Mine happens to be a solitare, but my best friends is not. Its way different. Basically is can be whatever you want it to be. You are the one who will be wearing it for a very long time.
