We dated for three years before we got married. Been married for five years now. I knew beforehand that there "might be issues" with his ex that we would have to deal with. But like many I was so in love I "just knew I could deal with it all..." Basically once the "book was opened and I got thru the first few chapters....the story has changed...now I'm thinking hard about closing the book forever". It's turned into this...it's "his way or the highway" He's such a control freak...wasn't like that at first." I work 50 - 60 hours a week, put my paycheck into "our account" and have to "beg" for lunch money...clothes...shampoo...makeup ect." While he can take out (and does) money whenever he wants and doesn't say a thing to me. He's buying things and then "informing me" of the purchase before I come home and see it...like a camper...a new truck...new tools... He has a mentally disavantaged son that has moved in with us...NOW IT'S ALL ABOUT THEM...AND I'M LEFT COOKING AND CLEANING.

I know about using parental control and my husband knows how to go to tools and remove the site from the block area. What else can I do to block the sites (porn dvd rental sites) without any cost?

i've been with my b/f for 4 years and we're both only 19 yrs. old. we have a 4 mth. old son together. he recently started drinking, and i don't like it. he keeps promising that he won't drink again, but he always ends up breaking his promise. i don't trust his word anymore, and i want to leave him, but i don't want to deprive my son from having his father by his side. i think i still love him, but with all the lies and broken promises, i don't think i can put up with it any longer even though he says he loves me. what should i do?

They do some spouses think its okay to scold? I can understand an arguement once and awhile, and a flair up of the temper. I just don't get a scolded and being yelled at like you're a kid.

DIVORCE.

If your spouce suddenly says "I want a divorce", should you try to find ways to save the marriage?

Should you suggest counseling?

Should you agree and walk out?

Just what should your conduct be when this is announced to you?

And (finally)...

Should the party wanting the divorce be given a generous settlement?

I have a friend that does something interesting. We having sex with a girl he says "Who's is it?" and she screams "yours daddy" It's gotten to the point when he makes her answer every question in bed with "Daddy" so an example would be who's is it she is required to answer "Daddy, it yours Daddy". I have always been facinated with the thing men have women do

any thoughts on this behavior?

I have just broken off with my girlfriend of 9 years. All along we are a happy and loving couple together though sometime we quarrelled over small matters . We have travelled to many countries together on free and easy trips. And all the trips are very adventurous and memorable ones. But a twist of fate had made us unable to be together again. It was all my fault as I have a bad habit of gambling which causes the fall of our relationship.Though I promise her that I'll quit the bad habits, she insisted that we go our separate ways so that it is better for me and for her. I'm extremely devasted now. Everyday I woke up in the morning think of her, sending SMS telling her that I miss her. But there is not a single response from her. I have express my apologies to her too and she woud not want to meet me up again ever.

Please tell me how to heal our relationship, please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a brother that demands his wife submit to him by making her stand at full attention before sex with her head bowed in respect.

He makes her do it. He admits he wants more control and I guess this is how he get it. He loves his wife and gives her everything dosen't cheat on her and is attentive to her needs.

But this is what he demands.

I understand the difference between loving someone and/or being "IN LOVE". There are many kinds of love. I can't explain them all now. Most of us joke around about "In love" being more correctly labelled "BEING IN LUST".What causes this chemisty in you and/or your life or where do you believe this mysterious chemisty comes from?I'm 49, divoced and haven't felt this chemical reation to anyone else in my entire life. What do you think?( I chat frequenly in Military chatroom)

He cashes his check and tells me he earned "such amount" when he really didn't and then he stashes the rest in odd places, or in a newly opened account I just discovered. He took a school loan out without telling me, and I thought we'd agreed that he wouldn't. He buys things a lot without telling me. A drink or whatever is not a big deal, but he'll buy lots of stuff like this. He even got a speeding ticket, went to court, payed it and everything without telling me! What should I do, or should I be overly concerned, or not worry at all?

My baby was really unplanned. so everything changed. When i delivered my baby 8months ago, it was a different feeling. I was really happy, excited, mixed emotions while holding my baby. for the first few months, i was still excited. i wake up early in the morning to cook for my husband and my step son, cleanning apartment once a week, taking care of my son ( including waking up at dawn), laundry and cooks for dinner. basically thats my routine everyday. lately, i fed up. im tired and im bored. i told my husband if he could give me at 1 day off - just to relax and to sleep. my husband is a mechanic, working 12 hours a day. during weekdays, i understand he cant help me because his work is too much too but sometimes im tired too - I NEED A BREAK! i told my husband about it but he was just nodding. he said that my job is so easy than his. so, i realized that every weekend it seems that im so sensitive that we always have an argumentation. what do you think about me?am i just irresponsibl

So many people say that living together before marriage helps you get to know if you can stand living with that person, etc. Then I did some research. As much as 85% (sometimes more in some studies) of couples that lived together before marriage end up divorced. Thats much higher than the typical divorce rate. Obviously it creates more problems than it fixes. Has anyone out there made it a long time in their marriage and are happy, and lived together before marriage ("co-habitate premaritally")?
Just curious. I myself am in an awesome marriage, and we didnt live together before, so looking for some outside opinions. One of my friends moved in with her boyfriend as soon as they started going out, and its kinda weird.
